Non-Slip Rug Pads For RUG-ON-CARPET ANTI-SLIP. DESIGNED FOR USE ON MEDIUM PILE CARPET. 8 Pack. Intended To Limit Medium/Large Sized Rugs From Moving On Top Of CARPET. BRAND NEW DESIGN! - desertcart.com Review: Waste of money imop - Didn't really work. Ended up trying to return but they were stuck to my carpet. Waste of money imop. Review: Needs work, only use for THICK carpet - I have a medium pile, wall-to-wall carpeting and I need to anchor a 2ร6 runner and a 4ร6 area rug by the front door. I installed these anchors and they worked fine for the first day; but on the morning of day 2, the area rug had moved itself out position and the runner was completely free from the carpet. The 'sticky' side that attaches to the rug holds fairly well - they are still clinging to the rugs firmly. However, once they are stuck to the rug there is no way to "reinstall" them by twisting them into the carpet. Unfortunately, the teeth that anchor the rug to the carpet just do not hold. I installed them according to the directions - I even vacuumed thoroughly and tried the 'fluff' the carpet as much as possible to allow for a better grip, to no avail. They seemed family secure when installing - I even tugged up slightly to ensure a secure fit and the anchor stayed put and pulled the carpet up from the floor. But, as I mentioned before, they only held the rugs in place for a day. I would not recommend purchasing these anchors unless you have an EXTEREMELY high pile carpet, and even then I would be cautious. This product is a great idea, it just needs a lot of improvements before it can be used for its purpose.

I have a 6x8" area rug that "moves" all the time. It sits on a medium pile carpet. I have tried a rug pad, double-sided rug tape, and this product. I tried multiple times to get the non-slip rug pads to lodge into the carpet without success. I'm sorry it didn't work.

Testing it out!
OK. I love it so far. I just put them on a 11' x 8' rug. I needed to fluff up my carpet with a fork (because it is old) and then step on the pad. I then twisted to the right (as instructed) could not twist much, but it seemed like it was not going anywhere. I will see what happens on a day to day basis and find out if it works. I also bought carpet tape for an added advantage, but realized that I won't be able to pull up the rug to put that on, without messing the adhesive up, since you need to put the pad in the carpet first and then attach the rug The tape will be my back up plan. If I remember I will post again as soon as I know it is working or not working. The picture I attached looks uneven, but it is an inch away from the TV stand. I should know pretty quickly if it starts to move. :)

Does not work well on low, thick carpet. Would probably work well on carpet not woven so thick.

We have very thick and fairly high pile carpet. Want to have a protective 3'x4' carpet over the new carpet so bought 8 of these. Nope won't hold at all. The need to have longer teeth to bite further into the high pile carpet.

Doesn't Work
Tried everything to get these things to work, they wont stick to carpet or even grab carpet below. Cost decent amount for product not to work. Want to return after trying everything!

Three Stars
Doesn't hold the rugs to the carpet as advertised. Our cat can even move them....
