Pro Wristwrap Weightlifting Gloves

I'm 67 and have only been working out for the past 5 weeks with 15-25 lb. dumbbells to improve my arm strength, so I don't know how much credence anyone can give this review, but here goes ... My hands had gotten REALLY red and sore from exercising with dumbbells! - so I went on a mission to find a pair of gloves, and I didn't want to go the "cheap route"! There are A LOT of gloves out there with a lot of available features, materials, and a WIDE price range! Spending $30 was just about my limit. I must have researched 3 dozen manufacturers! After reading about Harbinger® gloves, I decided to purchase their "Pro Wristwrap" model (#114030/Black). PROS: • They fit like a glove!!! (sorry) • High quality leather palm. • Wrist wraps are killer! • VALUE! - $21.69?? Can't get much better! • FAST shipping. (arrived in only 2 days!) CONS: • None CONCLUSION: I think you can spend a lot more money and not get a pair of gloves as good as these! I followed their website directions on how to measure to determine my size - and they fit PERFECT! Since I purchased, the redness and soreness in my hands have decreased GREATLY, but the gloves just feel good too!! I wish I had known about these "wrist wraps" sooner - the wrist support they give is fantastic!!!! The only feature left is durability, but I haven't had them long enough. If anything goes south in the next 6 months or so, I will report back. Meanwhile, I don't think you should have ANY misgivings about ordering a pair for yourself! Thanks Harbinger®!!

Ordered a replacement pair for the ones that I bought over a year ago that finally had the stiching in the fingers bust. The original pair (pictured on the right) had leather on the palm and and fingers for extra durability. The new pair unfortunately does not have this and instead had a thicker fabric in place. Additionally the thumb and wrist of the new gloves that have “leather” are much thinner and don’t feel as durable. Overall the new gloves in general seem to be made with lower quality material and less material in general. I don’t expect these new gloves to last as long as my previous pair and I’ll probably find a different glove for my next set as these ones don’t live up to expectations and I would hate to see what continued changes they make to the product. UPDATE: After less than a month of using the new gloves the finger holes are already ripping.

This is my third pair of these gloves over the years and I love them. The wrist wrap strap is great for stabilization. They do eventually wear out with use. Mine last about 18 months with 4 workouts per week. I tried another offering from Harbinger recently, but went back to these. The other gloves also had a wrist wrap and felt great. However, after about two weeks the neoprene material started to stink and I couldn't stand it. These gloves never had that problem.

I am a 37 year old female. The circumference of my hands measured the measurements for a men's large in this item. I ordered just that and it runs a little loose in the fingers. I went to reorder and ordered the medium. I will compare the two. However, I have read that these do run a little on the snug side. It depends if you like your workout gloves to be a little loose or a little on the snug side. Nice craftsmanship. In the large I had some excess material in the palms. However, clearly these are made for heavy lifting among other activities. If you're looking for something durable then you will want this. It's worth the extra money.

Comfortable, easy to remove, look great and grip well! Great value for the money as they lasted a long time!

These last for years… 2nd pair over 15 years..

Had the previous version of these gloves with REAL LEATHER for a good 8 years and they finally started to rip. Got this replacement and it is a serious DOWNGRADE, especially for the price! Where the old model was 80% leather and 20% fabric, this one is 90% fabric and 10% leather. The description of the product is also incorrect because it says leather palms but the new versions DO NOT have any leather on the palms. I doubt this version will last anywhere close to how long the previous ones did. Really disappointed in Harbinger and their cheapness.
