Great book
This is a non fictional book. This is basically a travelogue of the author, himself. I love watching traveling blogs and listen to different experiences but this is the first time I read a travelogue. It is beautifully written by the author expressing each and every emotion and experience that he went through during the time of his travel. It is purely based traveling starting right from our India, isn't it fun to read about our own country!!Solo traveler traveling and enjoying the moments to the fullest extent possible is the real essence of this book. Traveling can also give your soul the peace, the love, the source of positive energy that you miss for your own soul. Wanderlust is an amazing concept and only people who love to travel and explore will understand the peace that a traveling can give to the soul.At the age of sixty one, the author, himself went on a solo trip that too on a motorcycle. This is all we see in the travel blogs and reading the experiences of the author was a delight in itself. He starts from Mumbai to Vladivostok and then bit by bit touching almost all the corners of the world. Our minds need change too. Our body needs break from the daily routine. And exactly same is being penned down here by the author himself. It's a record of his experiences which he has achieved during his traveling through the whole world.I loved reading this book which has the real life experiences of the author. The narration of the book is awesome. The language used is lucid. The words are simple and easy making it a comfortable read.

Meditative experience!
I have just turned the last page of Aditya Raj Kapoor’s book Quest. I sat in silence for a while before I decided to write this quick review. Up first, calling Quest a book is a misnomer. It is a meditative conversation, even a confession, straight from the heart. If you set aside Aditya’s magical motorbike ride across the world, his inward journey with his Guru, or his most personal reminiscences of his mother, Quest is simply Aditya at his most vulnerable self. It is about his evolution as a seeker, regardless of the path he traversed - whether at home, on a highway, or by a sacred river. A compelling page turner, Quest has a surprise in store on every page, with a nugget that draws a smile or an incident that inspires awe. It is a sweeping canvas of people, personas, flashbacks, experiences, explorations, hopes. Page by page, destination by destination, Aditya invites us to join him in his search, his Quest. And when you reach the final page of the book, he leaves you inspired to start your own search, your own Quest. This book is highly recommended, not just for bike lovers or celebrity stalkers, but for every person keen to know what it takes to conquer internal fears and insecurities to eventually come up trumps, gloriously! Must-read, get your copy now!

Interesting read
Written as a travelogue, Quest by Aditya Raj Kapoor is a a book that will keep you invested right from the beginning. It is the author’s story of visiting numerous places all over the distinct countries and trying to find himself, in a way. This book does not only include the description of all the places that the author visits, but it also has his interaction with the different people that he comes across during his journey. A great deal of detail has also been made to emphasis on all the pre-requisites that are required for travelling across the world. This book is definitely for all those travel lovers out there, but also is so much beyond as well, including finding peace, self-growth and personal development, at the same time.If you have been stuck at home due to the lockdown, or are not able to go on a trip due to monetary or any other restrictions, just pick this book up as it will surely make you feel as though you are travelling all across the world, right alongside the author. Also, a variety of pictures are included in between to help you visualize and connect the story with the view.

Quest - Book Review
Aditya Raj Kapoor, son of the legendary Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali defies anyone to place him in a box. This is amply illustrated by his recently released book, Quest. Assistant film director to his famous uncle, Raj Kapoor, businessman, charcoal painter, undergraduate student of Philosophy and motorcycle rider are just a few of the roles that Kapoor has held.Quest is the story of Kapoor’s life told through his journey across the world on a motorbike. At the age of sixty-one, amidst much fanfare, Kapoor is flagged off from Prithvi Theatre and bike, sweetly named Sunbeam, and rider fly together towards Moscow. So begins Kapoor’s quest. Riding on Sunbeam, we join Kapoor as he begins his journey across Russia.Kapoor’s writing style is easy to read and holds the reader’s interest. His humble, self-deprecating style is endearing. Kapoor narrates each experience as he sees it, feels it, and thinks it. There is no filter or desire to impress the reader with sophisticated prose. When Kapoor takes in the vastness of the Siberian highway, so does the reader. The immediacy of his writing makes the reader feel as if they are right there, riding along with Kapoor, listening to his life story along the way.Kapoor’s seamless merging of an imagined first-person account of his late mother’s thoughts adds compelling depth to the narrative. We find ourselves in the room with his mother, Geeta Bali, as she lays confined to her bed, recovering from an illness that no one expected would claim her life. Powerful and poignant, the narrative communicates the intensity of loss that Kapoor has felt throughout his life, his quest to hear from those who knew her, and the final letting go. Throughout the book, the reader is captivated by the insights that Kapoor shares as his own self-awareness grows and deepens.Quest is a book about Kapoor’s spiritual evolution, his restless spirit, and his abiding resilience and determination. Through his travels and personal encounters, we learn that there is more that binds the human spirit than divides us. Written for the adventurer in you, the spiritual seeker in you, the pursuer of self-knowledge in you, and the traveler in you, Quest is a must-read.Dee Jethwa - Avid reader of good books.
