A local dealer quoted me $110 for a whole meter and detector, plus installation. I knew this small pigtail clipped plug was the problem, desert pack rats having chewed off the insulation and two shorted wires could be clearly seen. My local Shell service station did not have this at any local supplier but a neighbor who also fights chewed wires suggested that instead of cruising junk yards I check Amazon. I ordered this piece at a very reasonable price on Prime Next Day delivery to get the car back inservice for a trip.The part did not arrive next day, and the day after the driver of the USPS carrier claimed he could not access our unfenced property which is about a dozen paces from the mailbox. The USPS notice was they would turn it over to our regular carrier for delivery Monday by 10 p.m.The part is small, package is light, and probably is not stocked at Amazon Warehouse. The vendor chose to send it USPS - over which Amazon (and too many citizens) has no control. That cost one star--only.Finally arriving Monday, I took this to my friendly Shell Station who installed and tested that it was working properly, then sent me on my way in about 25 minutes --With credit to Prime, total for the whole repair including tjhis part and labor was under $30. My Toyoya now runs fine and my speedometer works again.
