It’s ok for occasional use
So I’m not really someone that does a lot of photography or anything, I mainly just bought this for when I need to film a mostly static object or area without trying to hold the camera steady. For my purposes, it works well enough. But I will say the build quality is not overly confidence inspiring. It’s not to the degree that I’m like worried my DSLR or iPhone is going to get dropped to the ground, but it also seems like if I gave it heavy use it wouldn’t last a great deal. The 360 movement is nice for panning the camera left right, but I haven’t used it much. Height adjustment can go pretty high so it does have that going for it.My #1 complaint with this thing is that the head of the tripod - when you get centered up on your target, and you tighten it up, as soon as you let go it tilts slightly down. I don’t know if it’s a problem with lighter cameras but it does this consistently with my DSLR and it makes it hard to get a target properly centered. You basically have to compensate upward and do a lot of fidgeting to get things centered up - and if you adjust it at all, be prepared to do the whole thing over again.I have not used the monopod mode at all as it isn’t really helpful for my applications. In summary, if you’re looking for a tripod you think you’ll use “here and there”, it’s probably fine. If you think you’ll use it any more than that, consider something more higher end.

Really good Tripod for what you paid
Another Update: the seller sent me a code to be able to purchase a new one for almost free. I have used the tripod a few times already and has been happy with it. It held my Canon DSLR really well although when I have the lens out, I hang my camera bag on the hook under the monopod because I'm afraid that it might tip forward and break my camera and lens. That hasn't happened yet but I don't want to take my chances.Update: it has been 2 months now and this seller kept sending me email that it is shipping to my house from overseas. I have not received any. Buyer Beware!!! Tripod feels sturdy and stable. I love the monopod feature. It does have a lot of parts that needs tightening which i believe is good and bad. Good in a way that it secures your camera, direction, angle and tilt of your preference. Bad because it takes a lot of unscrewing in order to adjust setting. Its all i can give review on at the moment because i am missing the screw mount hence I gave it a 2 star and i couldn't find the company info to ask if they can send it to me. Id liked to do a return but i used my credit card points to purchase this so i have to call and figure out what to do. It will be nice if company will send me the screw mount and then ill re-evaluate this review.

Decent tripod for a good price.
Picked this up as an affordable basic tripod. Overall weight is light. The legs all open easy and hold well. There are 2 complaints, one is the head adjustments on this are sticky and jerky unless you open the 'grips' all the way, then it's a fish out of water (I know it isn't a high end ball mount, but seems they could smooth this out a bit). Second thing is the center height adjustment shaft comes out of the retaining sleeve for the tripod base. This is just annoying, as you have to then loosen the base holder back up, and slowly work the retaining sleeve groove back in. Not a deal breaker, but like I mentioned, for the price it's hard to beat. Will eventually upgrade this, but for now it's doing the job.

Strong Light-Weight Tripod with Free Monopod and Bag!
I was going on a trip where I needed a light but strong tripod, but didn't want to break the bank and buy one of those $200 carbon fiber ones. So I settled for this one, but so far it's been more than a pleasant surprise. Not only has it survived the trip, it now has become my main tripod. Since it has been durable enough, I decided to make this the main tripod because if it broke or I lose it, it would only set me back $40. It won't be able to carry your pro DSLR for sports photographers with those huge prime lenses, but it can handle most lighter DSLRs and their kit lenses. I also love the extra bag and monopod freebies, which raises the overall value of this tripod to easily over $50. A great value!

Okay for stills, but lousy for video
Because of the all-plastic head assembly, the friction it creates makes smooth panning and tilting impossible. Even loosening all of the various adjustment knobs does not help. Tilting up/down and panning left/right is a struggle. By extending the center post, you can raise the camera mount well above 72". It folds up very compactly and neatly in its included nylon bag. Okay for stills if that's what you want, but for video, move up to something with a fluid head.Or unscrew the existing plastic head which exposes the standard 1/4-20 male post rising up from the center monopod rod, buy a cheap fluid head like GkGk G06 Tripod Pan Head, 360 Degrees Smooth Rotation Hydraulic Damping Three-Dimensional Aluminum Alloy Tilt Head with Quick Release Plate for Tripod, Monopod, Slider, DSLR Camera, Camcorder , and mount the new head to the post. You will have to raise the center pole about 1/2" so that you have clearance between the bottom of the new head and the center pole hold down knob, and you're good to go.

Impressively professional!
I am no professional photographer but I started getting some lessons on night shots with my Canon SX 60 HS.I had a $15 Walmart tripod which I thought was ok, but when I started doing 7 s exposure, the slightest breeze (or breath!) would make it vibrate. The Albott is really really great for me (a lot taller than the toy one I had) - definitely solid, steady, absolutely no problems on the roof of the airport - even with some wind. It was easy to carry, it feels really professional and the handle to carry it is really handy!I haven't used the mono post feature yet but it's great to know you have it!Overall, definitely very happy with the tripod. And a picture of a takeoff with 15 s exposure :)
