This may well be a perfectly fine product, but I wouldn't know since it is FAR larger than the product description claims and I thus haven't been able to use it. The product description states that the unit is "1 x 1 x 1 inches" when in fact the length is just over three inches and the width just over an inch and a half (at the widest point). Despite its size, its still quite light, so if you're looking for something this size it might be a good choice. It would be nice to get accurate size information before purchasing the product, but from what I can see, all the Coghlans mini biners either don't give a size or simply use the same "1 x 1 x 1 inches" so its impossible to know what you're getting until it arrives. Amazon was wonderful about returning the item, and hopefully they'll correct the product description for this and the other mini biners as well.

I wish I had read the reviews. The picture is not accurate.
