Q: Which color- copper or expresso- will coordinate best with my oil rubbed bronze finishes?

I purchased the copper finish. It appears darker than shown in the picture and resembles oil rubbed bronze hardware. Copper would probably be a good choice.

Q: Is it true that is 144 inches long

Mine is extended 114 inches and there is a little more extension available but not sure if it will go to 144 inches.

Q: does this rod have a flat silver finish that looks painted or is it shiny? does it look better than it does online? thanks...

The rod has a brushed nickle finish. It is not painted nor shiny. It is beautiful and you won't be disappointed. I especially liked the simplicity of the rod. It comes very nicely packaged so that none of the pieces can get scratched.
