It is an awful lot smaller than I envisioned it, though I don't know why... the dimensions are clearly given in the product description. Was a little disappointed at first, but then tried wearing it for a while when I went outdoors and discovered it's really just right. Any larger and it would have been a nuisance. And it is so soft and warm. I'm going to get a lot of wear out of this. I'm Scottish myself, though 2nd generation American, and it tickles me to have something made in Scotland, in the royal tartan to boot. Not my clan, but nobody here gives a hoot. :) I like the red plaids most of all.
