Had to glue the door back to the frame
The door is super cute, but fell out of the frame when I opened it. It was only held in by a small dot of glue. I used hot glue and was able to get it to stick better. Hope it doesn’t fall out again.

I opened to box to find a broken door and missing pieces. The bottom threshold was broken off and the door had come unglued from the frame. Very disappointing.

Cutest thing ever! I can’t get over how great this looks. Gorgeous purple color, I definitely recommend this purchase. It’s our elf on the shelf door that stays visible all year, and the cute mailbox was so fun

We received the fairy door in a timly manner. It will be given to my daughter as a gift for Christmas. We had done research on them and they really liked the idea! I'm sure they will LOVE it!!! Thanks for your great idea!!!!

Love the idea
Love the idea, love the door, just don't do as I did and in a hurry use the tape they provide. It will peel the paint and drywall. Whoops!

Pleasantly surprised.
I was very hesitant when it came to ordering this product as the reviews haven't been great, which is why I felt compelled to write a review.This order was delivered very quickly. I opened the box and all items were individually secured and wrapped in bubble wrap. The box consists of 1 red mail box, 1 red and white door with gold/brass knocker, door knob with key hole and letterbox, 1 elf footsteps stencil sheet and 1 bottle of red fairy dust.The mail box lid opens and closes,which is a nice touch, inside the box is some double sided adhesive strips to secure it on the surface you choose. The door is beautifully made, a lot bigger than I imagined it would be so was pleasantly surprised, it is very sturdy, a lovely smell of wood and all fixtures are present and correct, they even have a little bling on them. The door has a picture hook type hole on the back so it can be hung on a wall or skirting board (I think the door would be too heavy to fix with adhesive tape and would eventually peel off). The door does not open, which I think is great as it adds to the magic of it only be accessible during the night by our Elf (his name is Coal). I checked the door on my skirting board and the door is bigger, it would look rather odd 3/4 on the skirting and the rest not quite touching the wall, so have decided it will go just above the skirting on the wall, and it really doesn't look out of place. Anyway, Elves fly, right? ;)All in all i am delighted with this set and really can't wait until Christmas so we can have some long awaited Elf on the shelf fun. My little one will be over the moon when he see's this.
