Excellent battery for Lenovo My IdeaPad laptop
Review:I bought this battery for my Lenovo IdeaPad laptop and I am very impressed with its performance and quality. It has a great battery life, lasting 5-6 hours offline and 2.5-4 hours online. It is much better than the original battery that came with the laptop, which only lasted 3.5 hours offline and 1-1.5 hours online. The original battery also went bad much faster. It's been a year since I've had this and it's still pretty good and I don't always treat it kindly. I put a lot of pressure on it's usage. The battery was easy to install, as it came with the tools needed and clear instructions. It fits perfectly in my laptop and does not overheat or make any noise. It also charges quickly and keeps power when not in use.I highly recommend this battery to anyone with a Lenovo IdeaPad laptop and needs a replacement or backup battery. This is the best battery I have ever used for any laptop. It is worth every penny and I would buy from this brand again. Hope they keep making laptop batteries and maintain the high quality of their service.Glad you liked this answer!

Good alternative
I got this because the OEM battery started to inflate from the gases being produced because it went bad. This replacement isn't the best, it doesn't hold a charge for long and it feels like I have to keep my laptop plugged in at all times, But it is better than the alternative, no battery. It was easy to install I only wish they gave some replacement screws with it because I lost the original ones.

Anything can fail but good customer service prevails
I bought a replacement battery for my Lenovo Thinkpad and it fit perfectly. Sadly it failed after the 30 day return period to Amazon. Any product can fail but what happens after the failure is super important. I contacted ScorpioX support expecting nothing but was very surprised to get a quick reply and a new battery with no hassles. From comments I have read on many sellers, this is not the norm. You can buy from ScorpioX and know you actually have a warranty.

Better than no battery!
For some reason it dies right when it's around 30%. I did the cycle instructions as prescribed. Still better than my last battery which wouldn't charge at all and the computer only worked when the charging cable was plugged in.

Not much better than the 5 year old battery it replaced
It was simple to install this battery. Take off the back cover of the computer and remove a few screws and disconnect the wire.I followed the break in instructions to charge and discharge the battery for the first few days. It has been a few weeks now and the battery provides less than 2 hours of run time after a full charge.Should have spent more money and purchased a better battery.

Takes a little work
I ran Powershell battery report after a full night of charging and it's only showing 27,020 mWh at 96% charge. That was nearly as bad as my broken battery. I went back to recheck the instructions which said it may take a few cycles to 'wake up the battery.' I was skeptical but I continued to drain my battery to 5% and then recharge it. After four cycles, my batter is now measuring close to 80,000 mWh.
