Excellent for delicate stomaches as well as normal digestion
So glad a friend found this for me. Like many others I have digestive problems. As well as gluten free, I need onion free, including garlic free. Trying to find soups gravies etc without these is nigh on impossible. So tasty other family members are happy to use it.

Lemony taste
Tried it as Chicken Bovril replacement, not very nice, it has lemony taste to it.

Not very nice
If you’re buying this in place of bovril I wouldn’t bother it has the most weird bitter taste. I forced myself to drink it but I couldn’t stomach another.

Lemony Marmite
In my quest to find an acceptable home kitchen friendly alternative to proper beef stock that avoids roasting bones, hours of browning, deglazing, simmering and reducing, I thought I’d give this a try. The quick answer is that this definitely isn’t that.Made up to its recommended 1 tbsp in 100ml of water it’s just way too much lemon taste for any beef stock. There’s also a tad too much marmite there also. All marmite aside, in my humble opinion any lemon taste is too much which begs the question; why put lemon concentrate in it? Did Auguste Escoffier add lemon to his classic beef stock? No he bloody well didn’t.I’ve come to the conclusion that manufacturers with all the technology and facilities are unable to make decent beef stock.Don’t bother with this, go buy yourself some knorr stock pots instead. They’re not great but they’re better than this.Disappointed customer.
