I have 3 of these Salt lamp already that I have bought at different stores all were aprox $20 each. This is the first one I have bought on line and I am very pleased. I like the dimer on the cord and wood base is nice and flat with little cut outs for the cord. Out of all the ones I have bought and priced, this one is the best deal by far. Hope this helps.

I have seen the other reviews mentioning problems with the dimmer switch, but I've had my lamp for over a month now and haven't noticed any problems. I tend to run it for a few hours at night, and sometimes fall asleep with it on. I also bought my roommate a lamp and he runs his constantly with no issues.The dimmer is lovely, and the lamp gives a really nice warm tone to any room. I would caution that the color is variable -- you might get an orange lamp, an amber lamp, or even a white one. I'd also mention that these are made of salt, meaning that they're much heavier than you think they are (can be dangerous around pets if the cord can be tripped over). In addition, salt does chip off and there tends to be at least a little salt dust around the base of my lamp at all times.Overall a wonderful purchase, and a cheaper price point than many of the salt lamps I considered.

I got a really gigantic lamp that works fine out of the shabby box it came in. The dimmer works fine. I like the shape of the crystal, too. The only thing that I am skeptical about is the way the cord looked and the way it was presented, which kind of made the lamp look used. But it wasn't used because it was wrapped in a plastic cellophane (even though the cord was just sort of thrown in on top, loosely). Also, there was fine salt everywhere, opening the package.... even all over the base, which I hadn't expected. But, if it weren't for the salt and the cord situation, I would have given it five stars.

Large lamp and worth the wait to arrive. Very pretty and easy set up. I will be buying more lamps. Have received compliments already! Very nice.

Beautiful piece and the dimming switch is a nice touch even though the brightest setting is quite blinding. My salt pyramid arrived glued slightly crooked on the wooden base and some deep scratches in the salt portion as if it were freshly mined but never polished. I don't know if that was intentional or not. Overall though, I am pleased with the mood it sets and the warm light that resonates.

These are really nice quality salt lamps. I bought two because I plan to use them for overnight feedings and diaper changes when my baby is born (red light apparently doesn't wake them up as much as regular light). The lights are not bright (as expected) but will be enough light to see by in a dark room. The salt lamps are very heavy and seem to be good quality.

have had this now for a bit , and use it on my nighttable as a lamp / nightlight - have to say , i do love it .. not sure if it is something to do with the salt or what , but i definitely fall asleep easier / quicker than previously and adding it was the only change to the routine. =)

4 instead of 5 stars because the lightbulb burnt out almost immediately after plugging in. However the cord is all intact, unlike I've seen in other reviews. Didn't come with instructions or anything, but it's pretty self explanatory, just plug in and go. Actually is larger than my other one I bought for the same price, so that's nice.

This is a nice gift I think any teen girl would enjoy. It looks really nice during the day, and at night it gives a warm glow. My only problem with it is you have to turn the dimmer way up before the lamp even turns on. But after that you get quite a range between the dimmest setting and the brightest setting.

I ordered 3 of these they are beautiful one has a small crack and chip missing where the base attached. But other than that beautiful colour and shipped super quick!
