Excellent knife
I'm cheap but using wonky cheaply-built tools make me furious, so like Bruce Banner I am always angry. This knife puts a smile on my face though. It is well-built and feels great in your hand. The scales have a nice texture. The blade is perfectly centered, very sharp, and has no slop. The axis lock is a bit stiff and gravelly but it doesn't bother me and will probably smooth out over time. The clip is sturdy and can be moved to either side. I wish the clip were matte rather than shiny, but that is a personal preference. It's an excellent knife for the money and perfectly enjoyable to use.Pictured with a Spyderco Grasshopper for scale.

A good knife for the price
Nice knife. Form-wise, this is a copy of Ontario's RAT folder but the lock used in a clone of Benchmade's Axis lock.I have a RAT and really like it but I've had it for years (e.g. 10 or so).I bought a Ganzo Benchmade-clone recently -- Firebird Knife F7562 (Ganzo G7562). I've used that one for working outside and working around the house. So, I figured I might as well check out another Ganzo and spotted this. I am glad I did. It's a good EDC knife. The review: The knife is light to me and it's well made. The blade locks up well with no wiggle and perfectly centered. The edge is sharp and the blade is well-made overall. I can't attest to how strong or hard the steel is but it's held up well to general tasks - cord, boxed, tape, trimming plastic tabs, etc.The lock is easy to manipulate and it's easy to open the knife and close it with one hand. I also like the clip. It sits deep in the pocket and has a Goldilocks level of tension: firmly grips the pocket but not hard to fish out when you need it.All in all. I'm glad I gave this a try. I like well-made, inexpensive knives because I don't feel bad using them - e.g. cutting down boxes, opening a bag of cat litter, etc.All in all, a good price, good product, & quick delivery. Would buy from this seller again and I would be willing to get another Ganzo.

A really good pocket knife.
G Lock (Axis Lock copy) is a little stiff. But seems like a good safe design. The blade was absolutely hair-popping sharp out of the box. I got this for my son, and he guessed it at $60. He was shocked that it was under $20 shipped. The action on the knife is superb. Grip shape is about perfect and very safe. My son uses his knives at work really hard, and this knife will get a workout. The blade, being 440C, will sharpen easily, and will strop even easier. This is a good knife, and when factoring in the price is an EXCELLENT value.

Just buy one!! ...no wait, buy 3!!!
I've carried a wide range of knives over the years, but lately, this is the about the only one that ends up clipped to my pocket. Stop reading right now! Just go buy one... no actually buy three...because you're going to want to give a couple to your friends. This is the best among the Ganzo knives, and probably the best 440 blade that I own - easy to sharpen and creates an absolutely wicked edge if you take the time to strop it to a mirror finish. And while I don't absolutely love the blade shape, it is very compact and not nearly as "chunky" as some of the other Ganzos. As others have noted, the lock is not as smooth as a Benchmade, but if you jam an appropriately-sized screwdriver to force the lock completely open for a weekend, (see photo) and back off the pivot screw just until the blade will fall open and closed, you will find yourself repeatedly flicking this knife open for all to see. (Warn your wife beforehand so she will be prepared to endure several days of public embarrassment.) Best of all - if you trash it or lose it, you're only out about $20 to buy a replacement! Highly recommended!

Very good. Good value.
Very good. Good value. The factory edge geometry was mediocre instead of great, but I reprofiled it and now it is great. In all other respects this is an excellent knife right out of the box. This knife is similar to a Rat 1, but I prefer this one because of crossbar lock versus liner lock. I don't trust liner locks as much as crossbar/G/axis locks, and liner lock detents are too short (in arc degrees of action) because they are only ball detents not spring detents. I plan to carry this knife as my slicey EDC option, and I carry a no-seriously type of Cold Steel for heavier-duty work.

Stiff, but nice.
It fits well in my hand. It's a good size. A bit smaller than the Rat1, and a bit larger than the Rat 2. I like the feel of the G-10 handle. The only negative so far is the stiffness of the G-lock. I figure it may wear in with time and use. It's pretty nice for a budget knife.

The little brother (727S) outdoes its big brother (727M).
First of all, I am a fan of Ganzo knives. However, if I don't like them, I will send them back. Sadly, I have sent back 3 Ganzo 727M's. They all developed things that I didn't like. Especially, that 'lock pin rattle'. No bueno. So, I decided to take a chance and try the, 'little brother', the 727S. Right out of the box, this thing was, 'flippy'. Flick open, flick shut, flick with the lock...no problem! I have never put a driver or oil to it, just nice action from the jump! The knife also is at a great weight, just enough to have some heft. The overall length is useful enough without being intimidating if you need to deploy it around, 'non-knife' people. LOL.I really like this knife a lot. It's a great EDC option if you want something a bit lighter and smaller, without it being a micro knife.IMO, Ganzo punches way above their weight with most of their offerings. I don't get hung up on steel, either. 440C does just fine for a budget knife collector, like me.It's a keeper. I'd grab one.

Great knife, terrible lock
I loved the look and feel of the knife, too bad operation was frustrating. Using the lock felt like the spring of an old pogo stick. I left the knife partially open for 24 hours to try and loosen the lock, it improved a little but still was not comfortable or smooth. The thumb stud and the lock button were both not smooth and it irritated my thumb and index finger. I would not recommend

Sehr scharf
