Durable, solid, and dependable. Driven literally thousands of miles with a big bike on top, without issue.
I'm actually really impressed by this - it's about a third the price of the really fancy options, but does just as good a job. I've driven literally thousands of miles (probably approaching 5,000) with a 30-lb full suspension on top without issues. No issues around sharp, twisty mountain roads, beaten-up BLM roads, etc. It's great. In my rack, the skewer clamp is free to rotate, so the whole fork adapter mechanism can rotate up and forward. This can be stopped by resting the quick-release handle for the 10mm skewer ON the roof rack, meaning it can't rotate forward. Also, the strap on the rear wheel will prevent the bike from sliding forward, but better to have two points.

Great value!
This adapter was less than half the cost of the name brands. The finish is great and the construction looks solid. I installed it on my fork and it was an exact fit and looked great! Looking forward to seeing how it actually performs. More to follow...

Solid construction. Cheep price.
If you have an older rooftop rack that only accommodates fork mount quick release skewers, then you know how useless they have become. This little gadget allows you to use those racks with modern day bikes that have through axles. It’s well made and only $20. It’s ROCK SOLID once it’s on. Big name versions of this are $60 or so. This $20 version allowed me to use the roof racks I had for a very small investment.

Solid especially for the money.
Great product, does exactly what it is designed to do. I was in the market for a Thule adapter and found the higher end brackets much more expensive than this product. I have 3-4 trips on this bracket and it is solid and does what you expect. Can't beat it for the money compared to the other brands.

Best value I could find anywhere.
Was surprised to find this at such a low cost, and more surprised to find how heavy duty the build is. It even has nubs to prevent slip off if not properly tightened to the bike rack.

Good news is that it does the job perfect for ...
Bought this because I didn't want to pay $50 for the Yakima analog. Good news is that it does the job perfect for my 15mm thru axle, mounted to my older Yakima roof rack with QR hookups/bike trays. You securely attach this to where you would mount your old bike's forks, and then run the 15mm axle through it, attach the nut, and drop your bike on there like you do with 9mm QR old style bikes.

Good buy, would recommend
Its a good cheap option for adapting to old scewer type racks, I use on freeway and feel its safe, sturdy and good price , the paint has chipped off so will rust soon by the Pacific.

Eh
Feels really solidly built. I think its too expensive for what it is. Saw no problem with the bikes while driving down the road. However, especially if you have a big heavy mountain bike, it is extremely hard to hold the bike and try to put in the threw axle at the same time. My car has a normal height roof, but I found myself struggling holding up my bike while fighting to get the axle in. If this is your only option, then go for it. But if you can, I would say upgrade to a rack where you do not need to take off the front wheel, or if possible, upgrade all the way to a hitch rack. Its a big investment, but I do not regret getting a hitch rack in anyway, and absolutely love the convenience of it being in the back instead of on the roof. Improves fuel economy as well, although it will still lower it.
