Exactly What We Needed
My husband and I have been trying to up our fitness for months but always seemed to get in a slump and back off. After purchasing the NordicTrack Elliptical we have really upped our game! We did a lot of research of different brands and went with NordicTrack based on other reviews and comparing specs. We've always heard the flywheel is the most important thing when considering an elliptical. What I wasn't expecting was how much I would like iFit. We have another piece of NordicTrack equipment but never signed up for iFit. I was amazed at how many workouts there were and how you can challenge yourself in so many more ways then just jumping on and moving. This has been a big game changer for us and couldn't be happier. I would recommend if you are planning to use iFit you ensure great internet capabilities. It's like streaming live TV.

Seems like a good solid machine so far
This took me some time to get up to the 2nd floor & assemble, it's quite solid & very quiet when in use. Your experience may vary, but I think it gives my old self a pretty good workout. When I registered it on NordicTrack's website, I was disappointed to see that they sell it for $1799, with free shipping, which is $200 less that I paid at Amazon, and they're offering a free set of adjustable dumbells with it.

MAX weight limit specs different in UK and EU vs USA
International website sellers give the weight limit as 275lbs vs the USA's 350lbs. I say that even 275 is overstated, with the MAX LIMIT being about 250lbs. Don't be fooled by rugged external appearance because Nordictrack cuts corners in the unseen areas. I had an axle break because a screw got loose over time and escaped my attention. Finally the central tower started squeaking and I found that it had developed a crack near a bolt. Replacing this tower section is EXPENSIVE.Before dying the machine was lightly used and served as a low impact walking machine by a 260lbs individual. It was carefully maintained and treated very well. A person of 200lbs being very careful in maintenance could get maybe a year's use out of it. These machines were introduced at $1500+ and now sell below $1000. Today in Summer 2023 Everything else is WAY WAY WAY UP in price but THIS MACHINE!? THAT is all you need to know LOL!You might be thinking "This reviewer is not as savvy and mechanical as myself, so I being very smart will find a way to 'make it work'." I suggest to listen to your inner Admiral Ackbar instead ;)Photos of machines damage will be coming soon!EDIT: added photos

Great product. Abysmal support!
I really enjoy this elliptical. I received it for Christmas, put it together the next day, and have been using it ever since. The iFit programming is good and entertaining. The machine seems to be pretty high quality. That being said, it gets two stars. When I assembled it in December and registered it there was a cracked piece. Nothing big, just a little plastic cover. I submitted a warranty claim and figured I'd have a part in the next few days. It is now June and they refuse to respond in any capacity. I've tried the website, the chat program, the phone number (which it took me months to find).- No response at all to email. Not even a "no."- If you get past the chat bot and to a person they shut me down right away because she can't find the registration. Told me to call.- I called and they are closed until further notice for year-end (in June). The only other complaint I have is that I can't figure out how to save my settings. I don't like the loud music when I get started and I have to reset it every time so I can hear the trainer. Others may be different but you would think that would save in my profile. The biggest problem is that they probably have a solution for that but finding it is going to be impossible.Great product with fantastic programming. I'm in the market for a few other exercise machines and I'm looking at Peloton. I can't put a buy recommendation on this because of the lack of support and total disregard for their customers.

Solid
Solid machine. Heavy and took a while to assemble. Once assembled, both myself and wife have used. No issues. Smooth operation. Optional wireless heart rate monitor should be included. Good value.

Broken down unrepairable twice in 18 months
In 2021 I bought a new NordicTrack Commercial 9.9 Eliptical. After using it 4-5 times a week for 18 months it broke down unrepairable. They have a standard warranty of 10 years and I received a new machine. This machine also broke down unrepairable after 18 months. On replaced machines their warrenty is only 90 days. They refused to help me. Never buy a machine from NordicTrack. Their machines look solid, but break down if you actually use them.

Not for ordinary people
If you are not 29 and in excellent shape, then this machine is not for you. I am mid age in decent shape (have been using another older elliptical 5 times a week for 2 years). This one is so hard that I don’t last past 30 mins, and then I am completely exhausted. I tried using it while unplugged, and a few things to loosen it up to only realize that the drum that you are rotating is simply too heavy even without any additional magnetic resistance. Who came up with this weight???? This machine is not for regular people. It’s for sportsmen in active training. I do not recommend and would have returned it if I could even at some cost to me (missed the window due to special circumstances).

This thing is a piece of trash without iFIT
You’re already paying full price for the machine and its function doesn’t work unless you subscribe iFIT for $15 per months to see the stats?! No thank you.
