They work well! Keeps the black marks from aluminum dock from the white hull. I leave my boat in for the summer and docked at a floating aluminum dock. The Bumpers become covered with black residue from rubbing up against the dock and marking up my white boat hull. so far these have worked great to prevent this!

I know it says "fender boot" but it wasn't clear to me. I imagine if I wanted to keep my fender buoy clean, this item would do a great job at it though. So, as long as you aren't expecting an actual fender buoy, would recommend.

I have tried several different versions of fender covers, primarily to protect the glossy AwlGrip paint on our boat. (No covers results in dull patches, that have to be machine buffed back to gloss.) Most fender covers are ridiculously expensive for what you get - plus many of the pricey ones don't even last very long with abrasion damage or tears in a few weeks. These fender covers are pretty good for the price. One problem I was on the lookout for, based on other peoples's comments, is the fact that these covers tend to slip off rather easily, which they do, as the boat moves up and down while being pushed against the dock by wind. I solved this problem by sewing a pair of sturdy ties on each end of the cover. That way I can tie the covers to the fenders themselves or to the fender support line at both ends of the fender covers and the covers do not slip, up or down. So far so good for a whole year, so I bought some more.

Only lasted 6 months in the California sun. Fabric desinegrates.

Works as expected and looks nice, matching my boat colors.

Worked really well

Made from some substandard fabric that does not provide much protection. The boots continuously keep sliding of the fenders as they have no ties to keep them on and are not made well enough to stay on the fender.

If you don't pull up.your fenders they fall off.Disappointing to say the least.
