The ceramic seems nice and sturdy, no leaks so far, and the pump has been quiet contrary to some reviews, I'm not sure if I got lucky or if it was due to me thoroughly rinsing the rocks and ceramic pieces before installing the pump to prevent grit getting into the pump. My one nitpick would be the length of the tube in the top section which is not long enough to easily attach to the pump once it is already submerged and suctioned to the bottom, I had to settle for leaving the pump partly above water to get the tube to reach.

I wanted to love this fountain so much. The ceramic is actually painted beautifully. It is solid and very nice. I had to return it because the pump is a cheap one and it is so loud. It is actually louder than the water that is trickling in the fountain. Kind of defeats the purpose. If they fix the pump, this would be great.

It was so quiet at first you couldn't even hear the motor just the water, now just a couple days later the motor is so loud and annoying. I added more water thinking it wasn't submerged all the way but that's not the issue. So disappointing.*UPDATING* to add that they have amazing customer service! So I've added stars for that.

Value for money and elegance

I purchased this "Beautiful ceramic fountain" recently to improve the look of my living room and to provide soothing water sounds to listen to. Yes, the fountain was indeed very beautiful and it was just the right size that I was looking for. However, the mini submersible water pump that came with the fountain made so much noise that I could not use it. I had to unplug the darn thing and order a different water pump from another company on Amazon. Therefore, I ended up paying more for the fountain than was advertised.My experience reminds of situations when you purchase many other products and the instructions say, "batteries not included." I wish the company would have just told me what to expect - that they were not going to include a submersible mini water pump - so I would have known what to expect and could have made a more knowledgeable purchase. Shame on them!
