These are well made, easy to use, and hold our daily garbage well. The compost bag will start to leak if we leave it with liquids in it for too long, but that’s easy to prevent by emptying regularly. Great product and I’m glad to be putting less plastic into the landfills!

I love these bags. We use them with a smaller compost bin which allows us to tie the top together before throwing it in our outdoor compost bin. Our city does the composting, so we don’t have concerns about it breaking down in our backyard one.We have had no problems with leaks at all. But the longest we go before emptying it is maybe two or three days at the most. I don’t know what might happen after a week, but we don’t wait that long! They are sturdy enough to hold a lot of food, and can grab the tops and tie the bag in a knot for disposing of with no problems. They roll out of the box nicely when we go to replace the bag, and are priced well! I’ll be sticking with these bags for the foreseeable future!

I’ve been using these for a while now. I like the size for when I scoop the litter box - big enough for the scooper and to keep my hands away from the action. Can’t speak to their compostability as we deposit these in the garbage, but I feel better about using them almost daily.

I did not like these because they did not have ties.

Due to our trash company wanting us to throw all food waste into our green trash cans. Plus I don’t always have grass cuttings or such, I refuse to dump wet food directly into the can. Disgusting!! We are also on water control and the cost of water keeps rising. It tripled in price over 2 years & it’s going up again, so I am not going to waste my time and money on cleaning trash cans. Plus they are too big and bulky for me. So I put my food waste into these, tie them up and then throw into the can. They work great.

I use them for cat box refuse. I'm happy that they are biodegradable. Strong enough for my uses. Twist them shut, no cat bark smell.

I love the idea of compostable plastic bags though one reviewer said not for home composting use. Hopefully thats not the case cuz thats why I bought them (will have to go check my composter) I bought these last year and really wanted to like them but I won’t be buying anymore when these run out. The product is too flimsy and tears. I have thrown more of these away than I have been able to use. Separating them at the perforation—you have to be careful not to tear the bag—it will just rip one whole edge off. Shaking the bag to fully open it tears it.I just read other reviews where they report leaking. And that is true. I put vegetable scraps in this, just overnight, and by the next morning the container is wet from the bag leaking. I wouldn’t think these would be holding multi-packs of bottles like in the pics. Not when just shaking it rips it😑👎🏻👎🏻
