Powell PeraltaMini Cubic Skateboard Wheels

This wheels were everything and more than I had expected.I regret buying other wheels from Amazon and missed the return day by one day, before I was hip to buying this. You will not regret buying this.

I wrote a review of some similar Bones wheels a while back and stated they were so terrible, I’d never buy Bones wheels again. However, after my attitude calmed, I realized maybe I bought a random defect. Yet... here we are again; second chance, same problem. The inner mold of these wheels are such garbage. The wheels spin more freely than the last model (pizzanista- didn’t spin freely at all), but not by much. However, after 5 minutes with each wheel and a razor cleaning up all of the excess material, they seem to work normally. If you don’t do this, the extra material (or holes/deviations) in the wheel will cause your bearings to wear excessively fast. I’m even hesitant to use them, but the shape/durometer are so dang good for slides. Buyer beware... stick with Bones bearings and find alternative wheels. (picture is pre-razor, and it is the average quality of the four, i.e., you may likely get worse quality than the picture.)

These rock. Durometer is perfect for hill bombs. You get enough grip, but high enough to give you speed. Haven’t been able to skate in a bowl with them, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they kill it there, too.

These are awesome and I'm very happy they decided to re-issue these along with their old signature decks. I've ridden all types of wheels, including long board, and these have to be the smoothest it's ever felt. I may just stock up on these while they're available.Regarding the size, they're quite wide so if you're not using a size 10" or above board they're going to be sticking out for sure. If you're trying to get an idea of what they look like, watch the Bones Brigade Video Show and look at the wheels when Lance Mountain goes into the skate shop.

It is great not only on pool but also on street, no need to worry about small gravels. It's a big and wide wheel. If they are put on Independent 169 and 10 inch deck, they look sticking out of the sides, so 159 is recommended. They are much bigger, wider and heavier than contemporary ones but have irreplaceable feeling that reminds us the good old days back in the 80s.

These are the closest thing to the Sims "The Wheel" that I had back in 1979-1980. It is amazing that in 30 years th esport has progressed so much. I bought these so I could get back into skating with the closest thing to what I had back in 1980. What I found is that the new boards and wheels are much better. These old wheels are VERY heavy. Geezers need to progress and get into the new equipment. Peace out.

These wheels are still excellent and frankly much better than the new , very skinny wheels

These Powell Peralta Mini Cubics are essential for any old school set up. Goes great with white Powell Peralta Rib Bones and a white Powell Peralta Tail Bone. You are still able to create amazing 80's remake decks with all new parts. These wheels are a little heavy though so take that into consideration. They are amazing for flying on vert ramps or in a pool.

These wheels are a national treasure. I highly recommend. 11/10.
