sexy, steamy, heartwarming and exceptionally well written sports romance.
K. Bromberg set my heart and soul on fire with this sexy, steamy, heartwarming and exceptionally well written sports romance. Rush and Lennox have won my heart instantly and completely. I am so much in love and awe of this mouthwatering, pantymelting and soul shattering story!Lennox Kincaid is lost and restless. Working for her father's sports management agency with her sisters was her passion. But she is feeling no one trusts her ability anymore. And that makes her take the impulsive and dangerous decision to take a job in LA against her father's wish. To act as an ambassador or advocate for players for still struggling Major Soccer League. Only to find out she has to work with Rush McKenzie, football genius from Liverpool FC. Also her housemate. Also running from a scandal in England threatening his golden career. Also the player she needs to win and whom she is ridiculously attracted to.K. Bromberg is known for bringing out angsty feels with loads of heartaching emotions in her story. And Hard to Hold is no exception. This story kept me glued to the pages with the fast paced and adrenaline fuelled story line. Lennox and Rush were tackling professional challenges of their own and it was one obstacles after another. Being together was risky and forbidden but they have this insane chemistry that is too big to ignore just for other people. The chemistry is crazy good in this story. Like each time they are in the same room, I could feel this zing through my spine. The whole atmosphere becomes charged and heavy with tension and I could feel that inside my heart. So is the magical power of her writing. They made mistakes and hide behind excuses. My heart was getting wrecked but the ending was so beautiful.Rush is the kind of K. Bromberg man I fall in love over and over and over again. Gorgeous. Arrogant. Controlling. Bossy. Bad boy with hard edge. Broken but resilient. Oozing sex appeal. Charming. Caring. Protective. Gentleman outside bed and dirty beast under sheets. I just love him more for all the darkness he had to conquer and how it made him a strong and honest and loyal man. I cannot imagine the level of dedication he had to his sports. But he was lonely and under lots of stress from the scandal that he didn't deserve. And Lennox fought for him! This woman is incredible. Just incredible. She is the powerhouse. Even sassy and fierce woman can have self doubts and this story showed how natural that is. She is an inspiration for every woman. They both had trust issues, closed hearts and untold feelings. And together they are whole and happy and invincible.K. Bromberg and heartaching romance are synonymous to me. Hard to Hold was an emotional tornado. The intriguing and captivating storyline sucked me. The passion and drama wrecked me. And I was left blissfully happy and satisfied.I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

“You ready to burn with me, Rush?”
I was not prepared for the rollercoaster that I would go on when I started this book, but good god, it was glorious. I would like to point out that it’s not important to read the first in the series (Hard to Handle), but it would certainly help as there were lots of throwbacks to characters that have existed before. I did not read the first book, but that didn’t take away from my experience at all.Hard to Hold is a beautiful, angsty, sexy, football filled story that follows Lennox Kincade and Rush McKenzie. She’s a sports agent - like the rest of her family and this is where reading the first book would probably come in handy - and he is a legendary British football player. I loved these two characters and I loved the chemistry that they built up together. Honestly, having characters with this much substance makes me happy, because there’s just so much meat to chew through to get to the heart of who they are. And Bromberg takes her time letting you get through each layer to truly understand these two beautiful humans. After a scandal breaks out in England and rocks the European Football League, Rush is laying low in Los Angeles to let the scandal pass. There’s more to the scandal than meets the eye, but he’s keeping it to himself and taking it easy. If anything, Rush just wants it to go away so he can go back to playing football. Lennox is struggling to make sense of her place in the family business and after a group of misogynistic dudebros ruin her mood at a sports conference, she runs to LA to spend time with her best friend. What she doesn’t expect is to run into Rush and feel the things she feels.A great thing about these characters is that neither of them pretends to be something they’re not. Lennox is sex positive and she’s ready for a romp in the sheets if Rush is. She doesn’t hide her desire for him and she doesn’t play it off like it means nothing. They openly flirt with each other and it’s clear that they want the other. I mean, their first meeting has them both practically naked and flirting in the hottest ways possible. But there’s a catch. Lennox is taking on a new project with MLS (Major League Soccer) and her job is get Rush out there and try to convince him to stay. Which means that they work together, so sex? Off the table. Not off the kitchen counter though. The sexual chemistry in this book is insane. I mean, every time their eyes meet, I felt like my Kindle was going to catch on fire. It’s incredible. And neither of them pretend to not want the other, which is so great. There’s no coy teasing and fooling around - they want each other and they have each other. With every sexual encounter, their relationship shifts and when they’re both not looking, feelings develop.Rush is such a beautiful character, guys. He comes from a broken life and worked his way to where he is, he’s loyal and friendly, and handsome and charming. And all of those things - and being the top playing in the EFL - should make him unbearable, but Rush has never forgotten where he’s come from and in every interaction with fans and even his time with Lennox, you can see that he’s just a really good guy who would do anything to put a smile on someone’s face. There is a lot to unpack, but it’s so well crafted and the story is so seamless. You go through Lennox and Rush’s thoughts and feelings and lives without a single moment of confusion. And while there’s some angst, it’s not related to the relationship. Which is great! So often, the angst and the pain is because of the two main characters, but the characters themselves are going through so much in their personal lives, that when they’re together, everything else fades away. Even their break-up doesn’t feel like a break-up, it feels like a pause. It feels like an ‘I will see you soon’.I read this in one sitting and I’m still reeling from how this book made me feel. It’s only my second K. Bromberg book, but I think I’m officially a fan and I cannot wait to read the next in the series, because all these sisters sound like they would be an absolute riot to know more about. Thanks to K. Bromberg & Valentine PR for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

From rags to riches at a price
This is Lennox and Rush’s story, and what a story. We’ve met the Kincaid clan before, and previous characters are mentioned in a cameo roll. Rush is a footballer fleeing England to LA, to escape unwanted publicity. Lennox is an agent fleeing to LA, as she is disappointed in her family and hurt by fellow agents slanders. Both Rush and Lennox are staying at a friends house unbeknownst to each other. What unfolds is a delightful story, full of forcefulness, uncertainty, trust issues and possible lies, but for a very good reason. Good deeds have been done in the past, but now they are being asked for pay back!!! At a cost that really is not acceptable. There is drama, deceit, desire and denial all wrapped up in a delightfully fulfilling book. The characters are so real, the description so convincing, the storyline so compelling that once started, totally difficult to put aside. A great story with in going books in this series, but each book reaches a satisfactory conclusion.

Not looking for love might just find it
Rush Mackenzie is something else. He has made a name for himself as the best football player against all odds. When he and Lennox meet he has left the UK under a cloud. Hiding in plain sight and keeping tight lipped about an accusation.Lennox has just had a knock to her character, thinking her family don't trust her or believe in her, so she has ran to her friend Johnny's place, to take a short contact that her family don't want her to do, just to prove a point. What she doesn't expect is to find someone else already there. Two strong characters, who come together for a bit of a short term fling, who get a lot more than they bargained for!Loved it! Looking forward to the rest in the series!

Great addition to the series
I loved Rush and Nox, an interesting continuation of the series. Both characters connected well, each not knowing the direction they want to go in and just enjoying their time together. This story is a bit will they or won't they get together permanently and I'm not about to spoil it for you!Rush has a heart of gold but it's not till later in the book were you realise just how much of a heart he has. Nox is living in the shadow of her 3 sisters, or so you believe but it turns out she is very much like her late mother who also got restless. Will they sort out their lives in time or will they be left with what if's?

Easy to love!
This book once again proves why Kristy is a go to author for me! Lennox Kincaide is feeling from things she's overheard at a sports event. The comments added to the insecurities that are playing in her mind ensure she runs to a friend for solace! At this friends she meets Rush McKenzie a football player who is also laying low due to events in his life! What happens when they collide? What happens when they see what others dont? Can they put the secrets behind them and step into the light? Will the truth set them free? This was another amazing read that is more than 5 stars and a book I just didn't want to end!

good read but
Second book in the series and it starts off quite well although Lennon takes a while to warm up to. Her insecurities and feeling slighted was a tad irritating however things pick up and the story is good. Would have liked to hear what happened to the captain of the team, Rory going forward and the horrible agent. Good read but could have been great.
