My 5 y/o daughter thinks it's cool you can take and print pictures, and loves the accessories: straps, markers & stickers. The controls are a little confusing, but after re-reading the directions and some trials, it starts to make sense. It's best to use an SD card (Not included) for best experience, but not required to print pictures. It only prints B&W but if resolution setting to HD, the pictures are quite good i.m.o. Tearing pictures for kids can be hard- the serrated edge is tough for my 5 y/o to tear and sometimes causes a rip to the pictures she takes. My 15 y/o son loves the filters & frames. My wife and I loved the old instant (Polaroid) cameras back in the day, so it runs in our family!It has been a big hit in our family. My daughter told me several times, "Thanks for getting this Dad!" We went through an entire roll of picture paper the first day. I believe the thermal paper is commonly used for cash registers so should be relatively inexpensive. One suggestion would be to include a photo album / box to hold all the pictures. I recommend this for young kids and kids at heart!

I bought it for my soon to be 5 yr old daughter. She loves this camera. Its super easy to use. Comes with additional paper rolls to refill. Now she takes photos of her friends, with whom she has her play dates and then she puts the pics on the cork board in her room. Its super easy to operate. Picture quality is really good compare to the size. Definitely not a professional grade camera but definitely a great one for my little daughter. I will surely buy one more for the holidays to gift to my niece. Comes with a nice small bag to store and carry. The bag quality is also very good. Bag is made of fabric and has plenty of room for storing accessories. It doesn't need batteries as it has inbuilt rechargeable battery, charged using Micro USB cable. Battery lasts long. There is no flash so definitely, needs good lighting for taking the pictures. Over all, very happy with this amazing toy

First review of a product, but this product is really worth the hype. I had been looking a comparable products and picked this one over the camera’s that had a design with rotating camera lenses to facilitate selfies, because this camera looked the least complicated and more durable. To my utter surprise, however, this camera has a selfie camera on the back - think this feature wasn’t highlighted enough in the product description. In any case, I love this paraphernalia! My kids 5 and 6 love them too! Another feature I love is that they can shoot and print almost without considering the cost of the print. These paper rolls are relatively in expensive. Another feature that works well is, I didn’t purchase the memory cards with the camera. Because I don’t want to drown them in all the features of the camera immediately from the get-go. I love this little camera. My kids both have one in different colors and they can’t get enough of it!

This was really just a great idea. It prints amazingly and it even has filters which is adorable. The coolest part is that you can put a SD card in it and it's just like any other camera but the quality on this camera is amazing! I recommend it for any one who has a creative child. Now they can take a picture of their every single page they tear out of their coloring book to show you and try to give to you because you "liked it so much". With a picture of it you can have less "art" around the house and they can still build their skills. I don't know about you but my walls can only be covered by so much. Scrap booking has started now.I find the camera is relatively easy to explain to a 7 year old. It does have an auto turn off though for those adhd children like mine. About a 8 to 10 minute auto off. There's tons of filters for them to use. Plenty of things come with the camera itself which I think is great because less possibilities of it getting broken if handled as directed. And the refill papers seem relatively cheap but they give you 5 rolls that last a while.Either way I haven't seen any flaw with this camera it even has a great battery life.

We purchased this camera for our 3 year old. We thought it would be a fun little device that she could use to take pictures and print them out. It came very well packaged and took only a few minutes to set up , figure out how it worked and insert the paper. I was worried about the paper but its dead simple to insert the paper. Once we got it set up, it was so very easy to take the picture and print it out immediately. The pictures are blank and white and as long as you have the HD set, the pictures are quite good. The camera itself is very well built and can take any handling that a typical kids might do to it without damage or breaking. it has a slot for a SD card and I highly recommend you pick one up and install it. it has options for various filters to color the pictures but we have found the blank and white pictures perfectly fine. It also comes with a Charger cable so no batteries (a definite plus). Who ever thought of this , was a genius. She loves it and is walking around taking pictures of everything. It comes with 5 rolls of paper and i will need to pick some more up.
