Adjustable Competition Kettlebell 12-32kg

Looking for a set of kettlebells without using up so much space to store? That was my conundrum: I am working on the Simple & Sinister kettlebell protocol by Pavel Tsatsouline and needed kettlebells of increasing weights but didn't want to have a family of them squatting in a closet or in the garage. This solves that problem. It's easy to adjust the weight: simply open it with the Allen key and then use the hex key to remove the plates. Slide on the plates you need, adjust for tension to ensure they won't clang around, and close it back up.One thing: this is larger than single bells of a lighter weight. For example, if you are swinging 12 kg on this bell, it will be larger than a 12-kg bell you might buy elsewhere. You'll need to get used to this. Also, note that the handle is thicker, but this is the competition standard, as far as I understand. You might feel you are not as strong as a result. This means your grip will need to get stronger to accommodate. However, this is actually a bonus: people buy products to make the grips on their dumbbells thicker to work on their grip. Your body will adapt; you might need to go slower on your weight progression or start slightly lower. However, your grip strength will improve along the way, and you will be more functionally strong as a result.Overall, convenient, durable, easy to adjust weight. I have only had positive results in my training with this. I recommend it heartily.

Convenient to have one kettlebell with multiple weight options. Built solid. Looking forward to some kettlebell workouts.

Great product, this is now my new tool for doing rows.Other reviewers have said the Spanner and Allen wrench for quick and easy weight adjustment was not included, I thought mine was missing too, but it turns out that they were in the package, but they were really well hidden.

Combined the 2 kettle bells reduce weight change time & also allow double KB exercises.

Very well made and easy to use. Allows you to have a large weight assortment of kettlebells for a much lower price than if you were to purchase them individually and also saves on space. When doing snatches, the screw holding the kettlebell together did not more or come loose (at least it hasn't yet). I would not recommend that you drop this kettlebell because I believe it would severely damage if not break the screw.This is my first competition kettlebell and it will definitely be the only type of kettlebell I purchase in the future. I like the width of the handle opening on the competition kettlebell, I find it easier to do cleans and snatches with this size handle opening (compare it to the picture of the 50lb kettlebell that I own).I suggest purchasing the Adjusta-bell Olympic plate adapter plus some one pound plates so that you can increase the weight on your kettlebell in smaller increments.The one con I have on this product (and for me it is a small con), is that the product pictures do not exactly match the actual product. The screw holding the two pieces together is smaller than the picture. The included Allen wrench is not as robust as the picture and the included wrench is straight and not offset as shown in the picture (this offset wrench would be a better option for this type of product, especially if you remove weights from the top).Update: On November 10, 2023, after using this kettlebell consistently for 2 months and only performing snatches with this product, I experienced a catastrophic failure. The threaded shaft that holds the weights plus the kettlebell together came loose. I did not use this kettlebell hard nor am I using excessive weight (45 lbs). I had previously given this product a 5 star rating but after this incident, I am giving it a 1 star rating and would not recommend. A major component, like the shaft, should not come loose. Failure!!!

Kettlebell has a solid build. Really exited to use this product but upon inspection when opening the bell I found that the loading pin was damaged during shipping. Seems that the screw wasn’t tighten down all the way and the weights had some slack and chewed up the threads.

This kettlebell is a beast and is pleasantly much larger than I Imagined. With a maximum weight of 70 lbs, it’s size shouldn’t be a surprise, but it’s certainly worth noting, as pictures don’t always provide a good frame of reference. I feel like I am lifting Thor’s hammer whenever I lift this thing, and every time I walk past it it’s inviting appearance makes me unable to resist picking it up. It has a nice look, feels good in hand, and looks and feels as durable as it is.It’s also simple to adjust with the included tools, but thankfully difficult enough that there’s no risk of the kettlebell accidentally coming apart during use. It’s great that the adjustability provides a lot of room for increase as you continue to develop. It’s like having an entire set of kettlebells for the price of one.

I've had my eye on this for some time but never wanted to wait the 10-12 week back order from Kettlebell kings. This is indeed the same product and I'm happy with my purchase! It arrived in 7 days (shipped from west to east coast).UPDATE: I ordered another bell to start doubled kettlebell training. This is NOT the original bell I bought 2 years ago, despite pictures and product descriptions being the same. This is a new cheaper bell with lower quality production. The screw holding the bottom half in is tiny and feels unstable. The internal shaft is smaller. The plates rattle and require constant tightening. The internal shaft can be loosed by hand and was loose after training. The wrench is no longer angled making it impossible to tighten the nut for anything that does come past the first shell. The weights are pocketed and coarse. The handle is coated and not polished steel. When loading up 20kg and comparing to the original one I bought it was 1 lb lighter. I assume this is due to cutting down materials and choosing cheaper, smaller materials.I would not feel safe training with this new bell, especially with snatches.
