GREAT VALUE, GOOD SIZE, STURDY, EASY TO ASSEMBLE. I RECOMMEND!
This is a VERY NICE little house! It's plenty LARGE, and STURDY feel. It'a a GREAT DEAL! Feels like quality material that is water resistant. The inner dimensions are about 17 x 17. I measured for a cushion. The inside is sealed from the outside, except for the flap windows, not open slats on the floor like a different brand house I saw. I bought this for a feral cat that will let me get about 3 ft from him if I'm holding food. He was living under the house last summer, so I sealed the vents when is started to rain because it floods under there. I've been leaving the back garage door ajar so he would have shelter at night. Now that it's Spring time, I want to transition him outside. This is a nice cat house. I recommend this house. I feel like I got a great deal. I hope he likes it.

Great cat house
We have two of these cat houses. They are great, sturdy and keep my kitties safe and warm. We fill them with wood shavings and a warming pad. Easy to clean and assemble.

Sturdy and Durable Outdoor Cat Shelter…
UPDATE (12/31/2025): I’ve had this cat house over 2 years now and it’s held up very well. I have kept it in my carport though, so it’s been somewhat protected from the elements. I have it sitting on a counter-height patio table that we don’t use and I’ve found the cat prefers being up high, off the ground. Sometimes he even naps on top of it. I also purchased an outdoor electric heating pad that automatically warms up when the cat lays on it and he’s managed to stay warm, cozy and safe even in freezing temperatures and Florida’s random weather events. The cat is semi-feral so I can’t pick him up and bring him inside (still working on it though, Lol!) but he trusts me enough to know he’s safe near me and in his cat house. If your feral is hesitant to go in the shelter, just put a toy with catnip in it and they’ll go right in it. As for the shelter’s size, it’s big enough for one cat to comfortably curl up. There’s room for one more cat, but they’d definitely have to get along and snuggle against each other. I recommend two changes to the manufacturer that would make this cat shelter even better. The first would be if you could choose which side the 2nd door was on when assembling it. The second would be to add a hole somewhere on the side or bottom that a heating pad cord/plug could fit through and provide a snap-on cover for the hole for those who may not use a heating pad. Overall…I’m very satisfied with this cat shelter. It’s sturdy and easy to clean. You can remove the bottom to hose it out, just be sure to let it dry thoroughly before putting the bottom back on (although I don’t think it would warp because I think it’s made of a composite material). I anticipate getting many more years of use from this shelter and highly recommend it to anyone looking to help a stray or feral outdoor cat live a safer, happier life. I feel it was worth the cost. Original review: This is a sturdy little outdoor cat shelter. It arrived sooner than expected and was easy to assemble despite the vague instructions. Just so you know…the 4 shorter screws go at the bottom of the walls to hold them together and the 4 longer screws are used at the top to attach the roof to the walls. The small clear screws are used to attach the window vinyl. Interior dimensions are approximately 16.5” x 17”. Overall, I think it’ll provide safe, dry shelter for my feral. I just hope he will go in it. Suggestion to manufacturer: make the inside look the same as the outside (like siding). That way the side with the opening can be used on either side of the shelter without a noticeable difference in the look of the exterior. Also it would be nice if there was a hole in the back or bottom for a power cord to fit through if you need to use a heating pad. This shelter will definitely fit a large cat and maybe 2 cats that like to snuggle together. Price-wise, this shelter was a little pricey, but it is very sturdy, easy to clean and if it keeps my outdoor cat warm and out of the elements, it’ll be worth it.

Outdoor Stray Loves It!
It is fairly sturdy and easy to put together. I think it took me about 45 minutes. Could have been less if my other cat did not try to help with the process. But its easy and you don't need tools - everything is provided and directions are clear. Downside, the trim around the front door opening is a bit flimsy and it fell off when the cat bolted out one day and keeps falling off now. I'm just going to glue it down. It's fine and not a bit deal. Important part is that the outside stray kitty loves it. Took him a day or so to get used to the idea of being a home owner, but now he comes and goes strait in for a long rest. I got a kitty bed in there for him and he's happy. Plus, two exists is nice - he uses one as window to see when I'm coming out with his dinner. On sunny warm days, he uses to roof to chill. I live in a cool rainy area and and so far this house has been keeping up nicely with the weather.

Great Kitty Shelter!
I was looking for a warm spot to help two community cats we cared for. Assembly was simple, the house is sturdy and looks great. Ours were on a covered porch and got wet every now and then with heavy rain so they held up very well. I love the second exit feature to ensure cats could escape when the racoons came to visit. My only issue is the roof has to be removed and put back in place for cleaning. I would love to see the roof just lift up. The four top screws have to be removed and then reassembled again. Not a huge problem but I cleaned them frequently. Good for one adult cat, would be tight with more! I also like that it sits up off the ground, keeps it out of any water in the rain. All in all I recommend this kitty house.

Excellent little cat house , Took a while but ferals finally got in it.
love material, the top doesn't open up without taking the screws out and then having to line it back up over again to clean it out. Minor pain for the rest being good. Updated 1/2025 I have 4 of these ,a large dog house and 3 pet barns for a small cat colony I care for. These are my favorite little houses and most of the cats like them. I insulate them with Reflectix bubble insulation, cut the flaps into strips and make a flap over the doorways from cheap dollar tree placemats. Update, taking the top off is not a big deal at all especially if you leave the top screws a little bit loose, it's only 4 of them and they are easy to even hand screw out because they are large and plastic. These have held up great, even with a lot of rainy weather, Standing on their own. The cats all like them and the flaps over the doors work great to keep things out period works best if you can put it up against a wall to help shelter from blowing wind. I put a heated cat Mat inside of them in the winter and they stay almost all the way dry unless there's a super windy day with rain and even then it's only a little bit that gets in. I read others reviews With suggestions of leaving the flaps off until the cat start going inside and then put the flaps on after there already going in and out and that was great advice. Found the great advice of getting cheap place mats from the dollar store, folding them upright and duct taping over the top of the openings to create a flap or awning /visor to help keep rain out. They are thin, Durable but thin, so if you live anywhere that has cold winters you would have to insulate it with something. I got reflectix and simply taped it in place. One of them I lined with a cut up exercise floor mat. If the temperatures go below 25° overnight, Even with the heated Mat inside ,it is still chilly inside so I will fold up yoga mats and extra blankets to drape over them to help protect from frost. I have them up on my deck, I had them in the grass under a tree in the summer but I will never do that again because the mud splashed up from the yard all over them and was very messy. They also have Legs and space in the walls that spiders and bugs love to get up in, So I will only be keeping them in places treated for bugs and on blocks/ bricks if on ground. I hope this may help someone if looking for information.

Ecoflex Outdoor Shelter Is the "Cat's Meow"!
I have been caring for a feral cat for over a year. I purchased the outdoor shelter to help her thrive during our cold winters. The house arrived on time, no damage, all parts inside, and really looks attractive. The house was easy to assemble. It's sturdy. No odors. Everything you need is supplied. Functions well: the cat can easily enter in an out of the house with no problem. I placed a soft pad the cat had already been using on the floor of the house to make it feel comfy and familiar. There is no porch or overhang. I placed the house next to a taller/wider covered, substantial piece of patio furniture to protect the house from the wind. I read some reviews which noted that their cat never entered the shelter. I'm happy to say that as soon as I set up the house [late afternoon] she entered the house and went to sleep. This house is the right size for a single cat. I recommend that you up-size if you want to shelter more than one cat.

Good quality house. I had purchased another brand that was heated and insulated and when I opened the box the smell of chemicals was horrendous. But this one has zero smell. Extremely easy to put together. I bought 1 inch foam board, some double reflective insulation (like silver bubble wrap) to cover the foam board with and some reflective foil tape and insulated this house myself. Bought a heated pet mat from K&H and it is so snuggly warm in there. I'm not the least bit worried about the kitties enduring the cold Michigan winters. If you go larger than 1 inch foam insulation board it won't work, plus 1 inch is all you need and it fits perfectly, mine was rated r-5. Make sure you wrap the board in the reflective insulation wrap though. Also, side note, the dimensions in the picture are exterior dimensions that include the overhang of the roof. The interior dimensions are 21.6 in x 17.3 in x 17 in. I purchased this house thinking it was 28 inches. But it should still be ok for two mid size cats that like to snuggle. In my insulation journey I failed to check to see how the roof attached and I did not leave room for the inner rails to fit fown inside, however it actually worked out better, they have more room inside than if I'd done it right and I just set the roof on upside down for the winter, and put a blanket and brick on top. The insulation is so tightly fitted together though that no wind is getting in anyway. In the summer I'll slide the insulation boards out and put the lid on the correct way until next winter. All in all this worked great!

Great Quality
My cat is determined to get outside at every door opening opportunity. She is a short haired, small cat. So with the winter weather, I wanted something she could shelter in if she got outside and regretted it. We also bought insulated bubble wrap to line the entire inside as well as a warming blanket for the bottom. This house was easy to put together and quite solid. Love how it looks and couldn't be a better solution for keeping my cat warm. My cat however disagrees.... though she loves standing on the roof outside so I guess it's also a wonderful cat seat! 🤷♀️
