Good read
It's a good thorough story. I wish that it had dual point of view to add a lil more, only coming from Ness and having the 3 books in 1, tends to go slower.

Loved all 3 books!
The first 3 Boulder Wolves books are AMAZING! I started book 1 and spent the rest of the weekend reading through them. My plans? Thrown out the window!!At the start of book 1, there's so much going on but it never made me feel like "WTF is going?" The backstory was slowly trickled in and IMO that made the story flow much better. Sometimes books inundate us with so much info at the start or the opposite not enough, and it feels like "WTF!"Ness is freaking awesome. She goes up against all the alpha-holes of her pack and fights to be heard. Being the only female really made things complicated for her, but she never let that get her down. Her support system, Evelyn, and the way her mom raised her to never doubt herself is what helped her show those a-holes that females are not less than males.Through it all, her "worst" enemy, Liam starts to see the good a female wolf has to offer and eventually falls for Ness. Ness having a bad history with Liam's dad and Liam by association fights her feelings for him but eventually caves in. During their short relationship, and after their messy breakup, Liam is the embodiment of said alpha-hole syndrome. On top of disrupting the wolf hierarchy and having a whirlwind relationship with the future Alpha, Ness then finds her fated mate. Something that is rarely seen, at least in the Boulder Pack. They're still living in the dark ages when it comes to adjusting to modern times.Throughout the story, Ness meets members of a nearby pack and see how inclusive other packs can be with their female wolves. She strikes up a friendship with a female wolf from the Pine pack. Her friendship with Sarah, showed Ness how things are done outside of Boulder and also gave her the wolfy support she was sorely lacking. When Ness finally stops fighting the mate bond, things get spicy!!! I was all for Liam at the beginning even with his alpha-holiness but August completely won me over. The trilogy has so many twists and turns, it's crazy! There are so many secrets that are revealed, past events that finally made sense, there's also the enemy to lovers trope, love triangle, & the best friends to lovers trope.Really recommend this series! Book 4 is coming too BTW!

I didn't sleep!
Wow! I read this trilogy practically straight through. Ness is one of a kind and has such a rough life. Sometimes I wanted to shake her, though, and maybe slug a few other characters, too. I'm glad all three books were together so I could read the next one right away. A minor story arch did end at books one and two but it's not all over until book three. It was a fresh take on werewolves and an original story line. I found the story depth to be strong and people did change throughout.

Couldn't stop reading
Absolutely loved this trilogy (was super tempted to abandon all my responsibilities to keep reading 24/7) and can't wait for the next 2 spinoff books! There were lots of twists and turns that kept things fast-paced & interesting. I liked that the heroine was strong but not invincible, and that we got to know a number of her friends/different characters. Would definitely recommend this series to anyone who likes paranormal romance!Spoiler:I can appreciate a good love triangle, but I felt really attached to Liam & Ness being together after the first book, and I found it hard to believe that he'd take a bullet for her, but not wait for her link with August to fade.

Perfection!
This is my first time reading Ms. Wildenstein. And this series did not disappoint. From the very beginning to the very end, this story was absolutely fabulous. When an author can tell a story so vividly and so engaging that you get drawn right in and feel every single thing the characters are, making you a part of the story... you know you are about to embark on a journey you won't soon forget. Just, wow. This series has twists and turns you dont see coming. And once you think you know which direction it is going, it goes the opposite way. And, the ending. Oh, the ending is absolutely perfect! This entire series is absolute perfection!I really cannot praise this series enough. I am now a fan and will definitely be checking out her other books!Excellent work, Ms. Wildenstein!

Wonderful series
This series was awesome. I thought the characters were all well thought out and full. The tension in every scene was so palpable my stomach was in knots for pretty much all of books two and three. The love triangle is so well written and flushed out. I loved this series!

Spectacular 5 star read
I absolutely loved being introduced to the Boulder Wolves though their sexist views was really annoying to begin with. Ness is so badass and so strong and I love her for standing up to the boys to prove her worth. It was nice to see her progression thought the 3 stories.Olivia is such a fantastic writer and i love all of her work. I really enjoyed how she manages to get you love Ness with one person and want them to be together forever. But then keep you guessing as she introduces another love interest which ends up being better for you. In the beginning i wanted Ness and Liam but he messed it up and once August came back i couldn't believe I'd ever want them to break the bond. They are just so perfect for each other but i wish we could get a book about their later life with children. She keeps you guessing before taking you in a completely new direction you never even thought of before. Honestly a 5-star read and well worth getting!

An Enjoyable, Violent But Romantic Shifter Trilogy!πΊππ₯
Full Of Family, Bonds & Friendships!ππThe Boulder Wolves Trilogy (The Boulder Wolves #1-3)I found myself drawn in to this world & swept along with the life of Ness & everyone back in Boulder, where she'd originally grown up. Each book has its own storyline & there's an over arching one that flows throughout the box set!π Its tense, brutal & misogynist but also romantic, hopeful & freeing!π Some of the betrayals are so deep they're unbelievable!π Wonderful characters, I really enjoyed the entire series.πDebbie, 1970, UK

Best trilogy ever read
This series has rekindled my love of werewolves and probably to teach us that love can inspire and change into something more.

Good plot, difficult to read.
I found it hard to continue to read after the first book, it builds up quite well but feels flat once it reaches its climax. The plot was good, I just felt it needed more body to it.
