I needed a glass cylinder that was tall and easy to see through to for my hydrometer. Graduated cylinders were not tall enough or made of plastic so it would have been hard to see through to read the measurement. It came shipped well protected. Glass is thicker than I expected for a cheap vase and very clear. The bottom of this vase is also very flat and sturdy enough to hold water without teetering back and forth even though it is not very wide. Add the weight of flowers and I can see this being a great vase for a side table. Most people in the alcohol fermenting business are probably going to want something with a handle, but this is perfect for my reef hobby hydrometer which I only need to use for calibration once maybe twice a month.**Side note for people curious: the glass hydrometers float in the water and the buoyancy gives you the salinity of the water. This means you need something relatively tall so the hydrometer can float without hitting bottom and easy to see through to read your measurement. Alcohol is the same way just it measures the alcohol in the solution.

Loved this product. Glass needed a bit of rinsing and cleaning before use but perfect display for flowers.

The vase is very nice, not cheap looking nor made of thin glass. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend.

The grade of the glass gives it some weight and assurance that it's not too wobbly.

We ordered five or six of these large cylinder vases for the head table at our wedding reception. They looked stunning and added a touch of elegance to the décor. However, if I had to do it again, I might choose to keep the same décor style as the other tables rather than using these vases at the head table.The quality of the vases is great, but we faced some challenges with them. We used taper candles inside the vases because they needed to be fully covered by glass at the venue. Unfortunately, it was difficult to get the candles to balance properly, resulting in some that looked a bit uneven. While this may have been something only I noticed, it was a minor frustration.In hindsight, these vases were an additional expense that didn’t add as much value as I had hoped, and now they have no practical use after the wedding.Overall, the vases are beautiful and of good quality, but consider whether they are the best choice for your specific needs and setting.
