Broken Sparrow (Open Road Series)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Truly a sweet, romantic, wonderful love story. It’s so well written.. thank you Ms Bliss for sharing such an excellent story with us. I would guess they’re not “Broken” anymore!

This is a first read for me of author Chelle Bliss. The first book in her MC Open Road series is Broken Sparrow. This book is a spicy hot motorcycle club romance, but it is also full of amazing feel-good tidbits about chosen families,surviving spousal abuse, and finding your true self with the help of friends. Wonderfully written, the love and hope pours from the pages of this book like manna in the desert!The main characters, Morris and Alice Sparrow, develop dimension and depth slowly as the book progresses. This slow and steady approach to falling in love, as they learn to trust each other, is real and relatable. By the end of the book, I was totally captivated by these three-dimensional characters. However, I was left with a desire for more Morris and Alice. In the end, I found myself whispering ," No! Don't go! I need more!" Saying goodbye to these new book friends was very difficult.Broken Sparrow is a very easy to read novel. I finished reading in one four - to -six hour reading session. I was swept away from my Saturday chores into the world of Alice and Morris and never wanted to return. I can't wait to start the next book in the series.

I couldn't put this down. Sweet story, enough angst to keep interest and great characters. Wish I had a Morris in my life!The broken wing analogy was so well stated and gave depth to the story. Good job!

Fast passed, love loaded, intense action and a crazy menagerie of ‘real’ people.. pick it up and give it a test ride!

Though a shade implausible, not impossible. Well written, mostly edited (the end punctuation is missing in several places), entertaining.Recommended reading. Average to good.

Alice is running from her abusive husband and meets Morris in a gas station she is surprised by his kindness and when she calls him hours later he still continues to surprise her and it is like that until the end. A really good story with excellent characters

A little rough and ready, but it ends as it should and doesn’t leave a cliffhanger. I liked Alice and Morris, and Zoey, Lia, and Leo were fun too. I also appreciated that while ‘tension’ was high, the ‘relief’ didn’t take over the book in place of the plot. ;) I’m looking forward to reading the second book in the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! It waa absolutely amazing and so sweet at the same time. I'd recommend to anyone that wants a great read.

I wish it was longer but I loved the characters.Morris is older and it's great not to always have a young romance.

Love this book .. romance, drama and good old sexy men.So glad I purchased the book set by Chelle Bliss. Once I finished , I'll look for more from this great author

Oh this story is fab. So good I read it in 1 sitting. A softer less violent MC book than im used to but well worth a re read

I was smiling throughout this book. The sweet big biker who only gave his best & sweetness is something adorable. I like how it was not just angsty or horrible bitterness in MC stories. The young people & dogs gave an extra sweetness to the story. I really enjoyed the chemistry that's built over feelings more than over time. A message to never give up.

Great character build and story progression.
