I love this motion detection nightlight. It lights up very well when it senses motion and provides a nice yellow glow for my night eyes to see without blinding me. It stays on long enough to get settled back into bed before turning off.

These motion night lughts are hands-down the best. PERFECT FOR KIDS ROOMS that need a night light because it is the warm incandescent light that wont bother their eyes like LED light.Im a professional commercial interior lighting designer and i recommend these night lights.

The night lights are good not great. The main thing I dislike is that they are not sensitive enough to light. In brightly lit rooms they won't turn on, but in normally lit rooms they will still turn on. They are larger than the avg night light too. Other than that they are good. Nice soft light. Decent motion sensing. One of the 3 I ordered had a crack in the sensor shield (white hemisphere).

I wanted a motion-sensing night light, and this is even better: it is also light sensing - it won't turn on unless it's dark AND there's motion, so I'm pleased with that. My only complaint, which won't be a problem for most people, is that it's huge. In my application, it's plugged into a multi-plug adapter (three sockets), and it's so large that it doesn't leave room to plug anything into the adjacent (middle) socket. Does it really have to be that big?

I purchased this nightlight to replace an older version (same company) that lasted me many many years. The first difference I noticed was the light wasn’t nearly as bright as the original. It had a clear plastic bulb cover instead of a white plastic cover and it did not light up the bathroom room as much. The motion detector seem to be less sensitive than the original also. You had to be much closer for it to go on. The main problem was that the light stopped working after a couple of weeks. One night when it was activated it went “pop” and that was it. Never worked again. Fortunately, I was able to salvage the motion detector from it and used it to replace the damaged one in my old model and it worked. So it wasn’t a total loss but I wouldn’t recommend buying this one. To bad because the original one worked great for many many years.

I have now ordered 3 of these lights. The first one is great. Received in good condition, works perfectly. These are larger than you might think if you are envisioning the old school nightlights with a little switch on the bottom.Based on the first one, I ordered a second one for a guest bathroom. Like the reviewer from October 2013, I received one with a crack in the light sensor. Wouldn't have been a big deal except that the sensor doesn't work. Plug it in and the light is on. Period. 24/7 regardless of the amount of light or motion in the room. No biggie, stuff happens. Returned to Amazon. Got a replacement. Same problem. Crack in the sensor, light on 24/7. Very disappointed because it is exactly what I need but how many times would I have to exchange before getting another good one? Will have to try and find locally.

This is just bright enough to show you where you need to go without actually waking you up. I believe it says it stays on for 20 seconds, but I feel like that may not be the case. I feel it only stays on for 10 seconds, but since that's all I need to get where I'm going I'm not complaining. Also the nice thing about this one is my husband has not managed to turn it on by kicking his foot out the bed.There is a red light that stays lit so be warned about that. Fortunately since it's red it isn't bothersome.

Love this light. Works well.

Compre dos para los pasillos de mi casa. Funcionan perfectamente cuando obscurece empiezan a prender cuando hay movimiento, durante el dia (cuando hay luz del sol) permanecen apagadas. La unica mejora es que fueran led porque son de foco regular.
