ClosetMaid 78815 Cubeicals Organizer, 6-Cube, Espresso

The media could not be loaded.  I think it is priced fair. I had looked at various other products before purchasing this one.I do think it’s pretty sturdy. We did take out the top shelf to allow backpacks to fit better on the top. I know it would be more sturdy if we had left those two shelves there but that’s not what I wanted from this purchase. It has no issues holding the weight of two backpacks from our two children with their jackets, shoes, hats, etc…It was very easy to assemble. It comes with directions. Just follow the steps start to finish and you’ll be fine. I have put many together before in the past.I do like its appearance. My goal was to go for that clean, white look and I feel like I achieve that. I have it in our mudroom so I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant or fancy. It does its job nicely for what I need it to do.

I got these shelves because many of my hobbies revolve around collecting things, but I was running out of room to display things!For the price, this shelf is top-tier because it’s a good size without taking up TOO much space, and it looks and feels like a solid piece of furniture.The assembly instructions were super easy to follow and I did it in about 45 minutes so it wasn’t bad at all.If you’re in the market for a place to put your things, look no further!

So perhaps I am bring critical with my review here. There are some concerns and cons to this shelf, it isn't perfect. But it is decent for the price, which is relatively cheap.Pros:-Price-Easy Assembly-Variety of colors and sizes to choose from-StackableCons:-There are little plugs to cover screws. Plugs don't fit nicely in the screws.-11 x 11 cubes fit almost too snugly and it is difficult to remove fabric cubes because of how tight they fit-I dislike the backing. It is cardboard which is cheap, but I wish it just slid in a track down the back side of the unit. Instead they give you a million little nails, and you need to be careful that the nails are lined up correctly while you hammer each nail in. It is tedious, easy to hammer the screws in unevenly and ruin the flimsy particle board.- came with a few areas that looked like they were already chipping. I kept the unit anyway because it wasn't very noticable.It is a decent looking storage unit, but could be better. The price does make up for the small quality issues as these shelves are really cheap. But the hand off for them being so cheap, is that they probably won't last more than a year to two.

I gave this 5 stars for the ECONOMY of it, but feel I should clarify what this IS and IS NOT. THIS IS VERY BASIC ECONOMY LIGHTWEIGHT STORAGE AT A CHEAP PRICEPOINT.This is NOT the same as the Ikea Kallax or Walmart Better Homes and Gardens level of reinforced sturdiness for holding heavier weighted items like books, nor are the interior cube dimensions compatible with those brands of 13" or 12" fabric cubes.This IS: These shelves are ideal for lighter-weight storage such as baby/toddler clothes or kids toys--- or in our case, the kids wanted LEGO display shelves for their 10x10 base-plate scenes and quick storage of random toys like Hotwheels, etc. When purchasing fabric cubes be sure they are the 10" or 11" dimensions. I found that "Mainstays" collapsible fabric cubes at Walmart fit nicely in here, but even better score was when I found some 11" cubes at our Dollar Tree (bargain!). These ClosetMaid Cubeicals benefit from being anchored into a stud on the wall, rather than being used as stand-alone/free-standing shelves. The 9 cube = 3x3 could be tolerable/"okay" freestanding if you absolutely insist, but I also bought some 1x4 and those must be secured or they sway and wobble pretty noticeably.A few miscellaneous notes: The 5 "shelf backings" arrive with a permanent creased fold down the middle-for shipping, and are made of thin poster-board like material. If this crease bothers you, just buy posterboard and cut your own backs to tack in. Or if you want something thicker, I imagine "foamboard" from the school supply aisle works great if you score it with a box-cutter.When I tacked in the shelf backings, one of my shelves tore/split even though the tack went in straight and precisely where it should have. I chose to use wood glue to repair the piece rather than return the shelves.This was fast and easy to assemble, the instructions were clear. We've had the shelves for two days now, so I may update this later on to report on durability.Why I gave it 5 stars: The shelves fit our current purpose wonderfully, and I love that when I don't require heavy duty weight bearing shelves, there is a very economical option I can snatch up. Eventually I do want the heavy duty, larger 13" cube shelves from a major brand, but for now I appreciated paying less than forty bucks to have a 9 cube = 3x3 shelf, rather than eighty or one twenty bucks for 3x3 from the other brands. Later on, I will pay more to buy some that are textbook sturdy and can do more things.The photos: You will notice I originally had 12" cubes (white with blue petals), and realized I needed the 10 or 11" cubes (beige/gray). Also I did show one photo of my 4 cube storage here, even though this is my review for the 9 cube (3x3).

I use this in my bedroom for storing clothes and as a TV stand. However, I am considering purchasing another one to use in my living room as a TV stand and display cabinet. Works well with or without the canvas box inserts. I recommend using a matching wood putty or wood crayon to fill in the screw holes. The cardboard backing is flimsy and cheap. I threw it out, but to each their own.

I've put together many flat-pack furniture projects and this one was a breeze. BUT, you need to take your time and follow instructions. One negative that I've not encountered before - nearly all the dowels were VERY loose and wiggly so I used lots of wood glue in the dowel holes to secure them. I also used a cordless drill to set the screws but I was careful not to overtighten. Unlike some reviewers I did not have any crooked screws and all the holes lined up perfectly. I didn't bother with the backing pieces provided. If you install the dowels with wood glue and set the screws straight and flush the unit will be quite sturdy. The screw covers are decent - instead of being cheap stickers they are actual plastic caps which snap into the the head of the screw. If those screws are flush, or close to flush, the screw covers will set nicely, especially is you use a rubber mallet to set them securely. I'm quite happy with the end result.

I was a little skeptical of purchasing furniture online and with the kind of mixed reviews, I was unsure, however I went ahead and purchased the 9 cube and am super pleased. It was pretty easy to put together and I feel that the unit itself is pretty sturdy. Much like IKEA furniture. So not as thick as the expensive shelf at your local furniture store, but sturdy and great for the price. Product was delivered in a timely manner and I feel that for the price it was a great deal.It was pretty dusty coming out of the box so make sure you have a rag handy.Otherwise I am super pleased and wanted to write this review in case anyone else was out there on the fence about this.Happy storing!!

Pedí este organizador aproximadamente hace un año y medio en un precio similar a los 600 pesos, más alrededor de otros cien pesos de envío y a la fecha no he tenido ningún problema con él, la calidad es buena, material de melamina, espacioso para guardar objetos y el armado fue sencillo, sólo ocupa un desarmador convencional. En otras tiendas para el hogar, su precio oscila de mil pesos en adelante siempre que lo busco.Es una buena opción para la casa u oficina!

Buen mueble, me gusta su diseño y me gusta el color gris que elegi, ha resultado de buena calidad para ser del material que és, a mí no me llegó con ningún golpe o detalle como otras personas mencionan, lo que no comprendo es el porqué del precio actual de 3000 mxn cuando yo lo compré por 1000 mxn aproximadamente, me parece excesivo ese precio, exelente mueble al precio que pague pero malo calidad-precio para el precio actual, si lo vuelvo a ver al precio anterior no dudaría en comprar un segundo mueble.

me llegaron super rapido, y a pesar de que estan pesados para cargarse varios al mismo tiempo, al menos yo que soy mujer, son lo maximo, no batalle para armarmos, super facil y rapido, en 15 min arme cada uno, y queda de mas decir que se ven divinos
