Q: What is the maximum distance of fiber that can be run with this unit?

Since this open SFP slot converter, and comes without SFP module, you can choose distance by selecting SFP module accordingly. So, even 120 km will be OK, in case you use such distance SFP transceiver

Q: Is this unit support 220 volt?

This is not a power over Ethernet device and you should only use the provided power supply cables with it.

Q: I cannot get a fx/act connection?

Try reversing the fiber cables on one end. For example if the end is set up A1/B1 from left to right reverse it and try B1/A1. You need to ensure the tx and rx fibers cross from one end to the other or the to light from both sfp modules will pass down the same fiber leaving the rx only fiber dark.

This unit comes with no SFP module - so depends what sfp type you plug it in. It can accept both type of modules be it single or multimode. Or any other more specific as well
