Adapted to Duramax
The original part number for a Duramax has been discontinued. This item fits a gasser 8.1. Has the same brackets, but the intercooler interferes with the lines going around the radiator. A simple bending using a tubing bender, and they cleared just fine. My vehicle did not come with a cooler originally, but this unit adapted very well to my situation.

Good product, one glitch.
ALMOST an exact fit for a 2006 Silverado 4.3L work truck. Don't know why but the lower hose was just a couple inches too short and I needed to splice in an extension piece. Other than that it is a well made quality product. Much better than the generic "one size fits all" part that the local parts stores are selling.

PS Cooler - Rust Protective Coating Needed
Decent fit into a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 WT. The original, which appeared to have no rust protective coating, rusted through after less than 45k miles. This replacement appears to have no protection against rust, either, hence the lowered star rating.

NICE! Fits 07 suburban only if.......
this works perfect on the 07 suburban and similar "only if you use the original hose that leads to the gearbox!" The hose that comes with it is just a hose and clamp. The oem hose has a pressed fitted metal tube that inserts into the gearbox.So save $40 if your gearbox hose is not leaking and reuse it to attach to this model cooler. Was a fairly easy job too, just a bit messy.

Perfect replacement for my 2003 1500 Silverado 4
Perfect replacement for my 2003 1500 Silverado 4.8L V8. The original blew out from rust as I was driving. This part came in time and it wasn't too difficult to replace. The hardest parts was connecting the new hoses to the power steering pump. There are plenty of videos on the internet.
