It's very affordable and easy to use. Not good for fine line on fabric, but works.

At first my first package never been delivered; but this time I finally got it and I love it and it’s perfect for marked it on any fabric and it’s stays on the fabric so it will never be erased.

I stumbled across this on a sewing blog as the next best thing to gold and was... underwhelmed.The chalk is thick and not particularly fine in texture and the entire setup is hard to keep together as a set in the workroom. I think I paid around US$14 for it, but it is really more of an $8 tool, truth be told.The double wheel that you can switch around is nice, but not particularly ingenious.But then an older student picked it up and really liked the feel of it in their hand. So that is where this little guy shines: The girth and texture of the handle makes it easy for those who are slightly limited in their dexterity to hold onto and use. So that is the takeaway and recommendation here - if you have trouble with thinner fiddly tracing wheels, this may be just what you need. Otherwise, I'd give this a pass and continue to use separate pieces and finer smaller chalk mechanical pencils.

I have had a difficult time finding marking tools that worked on all different types of fabric, but here it is. The "pencil" with the three different colors makes a smooth line over every fabric I have tried it on (and I use a lot of different textures).
