I made these as a kid decades ago. Enjoyed it then, enjoy it now. But ... these are so much BETTER! The cotton loops are actually soft & all of them fit! When I was little, half of the loops were too short. Loved the added hook to weave the loops under & over. Plus the 2nd hook to use when weaving the pot holder off. Used to do all by hand. The extra gadgets make is so much easier & enjoyable. Loved this! Made some awesome new holders. Thickness is great so there will be no burnt fingers. Great for a gift for crafters. I would recommend for mid grade through middle school ages. My 6 year old grandsons would have gotten frustrated if they tried them. Sometime, things will slip off. My grandsons do not have that patience... yet. Lol! Recommend!

Excellent quality! Great value! I had one when I was a little girl and I loved it! So glad I found this one! The loom is very sturdy and painted nicely! The loops are have a great stretch and love the quality!

I got this for my 6 year old grand-daughter. She had a really hard time stretching out the loops provided in this kit. A older child probably wouldn't have a problem.
