Supplies me with a look into how to draw properly
This stylized book of illustrations provides some insight into what the best of the best do. It draws a line in terms of where I should be aiming if I want to be a concept artist. And essentially, it has taught me that rendering is key and that it's something I need to work on.

Easy to follow
Got this for my husband as he wanted to learn to draw. The drawings are easy to follow and fun to do. Husband has gotten many hours and made some good progress with this book.

Best creature design books, Samwise!
If you are serious about creature design and learning the process this is one of the best books out there. It is written by Samwise a Blizzard artist and a bandmember of Level 90 Elite Tauren Chieftain. You can see the World of Warcraft and Diablo style is his pieces throughout this book. He is one of the artists that has worked through numerous Blizzard projects. The book comes with a glued in pad which has 64 blank pages. His process of drawing really awe inspiring creatures are simplified in his traditional drawing process. The steps are easy to follow, this is not a spoon feeder book, you have to know how to draw details throughout this common process. If observe the drawings they are not hard to figure out. The full color pages illicit you to create your own creatures or versions of the books content. I hope he creates more of these types of books, because there is a void in this niche style of artwork. This book was well worth the money and then some. If you like WoW this book will motivate you to draw and create.
