It works perfectly! Others did not review the manufacturer's datasheet. I used it with a Teensy 4.0 and its CAN peripheral #2 port (CRX2 and CTX2). *** The "VCC" pin must be powered by 5V. The "VIO" pin (labeled as "NC" on the reverse side) must match the voltage of your microcontroller (3.3V for the Teensy). The "S" pin must be grounded to enable the transceiver. This can be done by either grounding the pin manually to always enable the transceiver or connecting it to an I/O pin on your microcontroller and driving it low when transmitting. Connect CANH and CANL to your CAN bus. The transceiver is pre-terminated with a 120-ohm resistor on the circuit board. Connect CTX and CRX to your microcontroller's peripherals. For the Teensy, connect CTX to CTX and CRX to CRX. Ensure the GND pin is connected to a common ground. ***

I've spent way too much time trying to get this chip to just receive something let alone transmit All the other nodes on my canbus are fine, but when I plug this one in, nothing shows up on the CRX pin. It could be user error, but the other transceivers work in the same configuration.

I could not get this breakout board to work on a V3 system without supplying it with 5V and using a level shifter between it and my V3 controller. It work for transmit and receive but I did not want to use a level shifter in my setup.
