With her distinctive sensual voice, bleach-blonde hair, Dusty Springfield became an icon in the music world in the 1950s and '60s. This collection of hits would not be complete without her best-known hits such as "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me", "Son of a Preacher Man", and "The Look of Love". This recording has been mastered by the K2 HD format of 24-bit/100kHz, which creates an unbelievable sound surpassing other formats. This K2 HD CD will play on all CD players.

Can't believe the sound quality !! (not the music quality)
Ok, let's get two things out of the way... The music on this disc is awesome, and second, Universal Japan really, really, should be ashamed of themselves on this one !!!I was really, really looking forward to receiving & listening to this (theoretically awesome sounding) version... Great to have this collection, if you just wanna hear the 'best' stuff....So what's wrong ? Well, it's not my stereo, which is quite high-end- The first thing I got was sibilance, however that was immediately overshadowed by sizzling, searing hot highs on this disc ! If this were some cheap, crappy reissue, I wouldn't be so hurt (not my ears), upset, or ripped off feeling !I also have another disc from this newer K2 stuff, Rob Wasserman's Duets- This disc still does not sound as sexy as the original vinyl, however does not sound poor like this Dusty- It has an ever so slightly pushy treble on one cut that is really extended all the way around, though otherwise sounds pretty great- Interestingly this disc is mastered by the same guy !Seriously, this sounds so poor, not just in the upper end, I can't believe it-No offense intended, however I have no idea what the other reviewer was listening to, other than the great music contained-Bottom line... DON'T waste your hard earned dough on this way overpriced, horrible sounding version-David

A Fantastic Collection of Dusty's greatest hits!
This compact disc is a great collection of her hit songs like Windmills of your Mind, How Can I be Sure, and You don't have to say you Love me plus so many others of her greatest hits. This compact disc collection is worth the price just to hear Dusty singing her greatest hits. I don't think we appreciated her until after she left us or at least we didn't tell her enough that we loved her. We love you Dusty.

Great songs from one of Britain's most gifted and talented ...
Just what I was expecting! Great songs from one of Britain's most gifted and talented singers from the 60's and 70's. Dusty had a beautiful, soulful voice. This is a great collection of her songs

Dusty cd
First of all Dusty was one of the greatest singers that ever lived. This cd was really expensive, saying that the quality is really good, and some of the tracks have never sounded better.Kalle

Few real 'hits'
At the age of 83 I remember with affection Dusty's very emotional voice, but the truth is she had few real 'hits'.This CD contains a lot of 'disco' music which has not stood the test of time; The picture of Dusty on the cover!!! This really doesn't do her justice. All in all, she has a lovely emotional voice and looked good. A poorly constructed CD

60's music.
I like Dusty Springfield music, it's not my era but I do like the oldies. The sound is a little echo(ee) not quite what we're used to, otherwise ok. It is good value.

Excellent CD
What's not to like? A really good selection of Dusty's hits and a few other songs at a budget price. It's not all her hits though but what can you expect for £5. I would have expected Islands of Dreams to be included but for some reason it isn't there. It's now come down in price since I bought it and is cheaper than a cup of fancy coffee.

Well, they're all there
i cannot help playing this all the time...I just had to get this:My original collection of Dusty's singles had got spoiled unfortunately, on a hot, hot day in 1978.I had left them on the plain front seat [PVC] of my Ford Escort MkI, but because of something taking my attention, I forgot to remove them.I'd left them in full view of the front windscreen through which the sunny rays were magnified sufficiently to have the records melt into wavey discs: Stupid Boy!These recordings are heavenly.
