So easy a kid could use it
If you're in a position where you're often looking at houses to buy as investments, this would be a great tool to have. It's so easy to use, you just plug it in and the lights give an indication if everything is ok or if there is aproblem. If there is a problem, the combination of lights gives you a hint as to what's wrong. It's not meant to replace a professional inspection but it's good to have and easy to use as you're looking at houses and narrowing down your choices.Even my son, who is 7 years old, is able to use this. Handy Tester
This is a handy little device and I was happy to try it out. I’ve had some weird issues with the plugs in my kitchen and I was curious to see if this detector could help diagnosis the problem. This is simple to use, just plug it in and that it. This unit will not detect earth neutral reverse, but there are 5 other detection patterns.CorrectMissing earthLive earth reverseLive neutral reverseMissing neutralThis socket tester is only meant to help diagnose an issue, any re-wiring should be handled by a trained and licensed electrician. At least now when I call someone, I feel confident that I won’t be cheated. After using this and getting the fault read out, I have now researched the issue that this tester diagnosed. Now, I have an idea about what goes into correcting the problem and now have an idea about how much it should cost.The seller contacted me directly to try this in exchange for a review.
