I'm in love!
I loved the book! I desperately want to read the second book but the price is a little too much. Nevertheless, I love Jaymin's books and this one totally didn't disappoint me. If you're looking for a book filled with ripped-as-fuck, sexy, hot males (including a particular dragon shifter) and an equally matched strong, hot-headed female character (also strong), this book is the one for you!

Well written paranormal fantasy but beware, there are a couple of triggering scenes.
This is the first book in the Supernatural Prison series. It is a fun and interesting read filled with shifters, vampires, magic users and fae. There are scenes set in prisons and events which might be triggering for some people but it was well written and let's just say, revenge is sweet. The characters are young and some of their decisions are impulsive and not thought through but it is in keeping with the story. Overall I liked the main characters; they are interesting and each quite unique. Some characters have been more well developed than others and I look forward to seeing their growth in future books. The world this is set in is framed well with enough detail to fire the imagination without dictating every aspect.I'm off to get book 2.

Enjoyed it
Really enjoyed this. I was worried that it would be a bit too young adult with teen angst but I was wrong, this is definitely an adult book. If you don't like sex and swearing, this isn't for you. In addition, if you struggle with the concept of shifters and other species having a different way of running their lives particularly in relationships, I also wouldn't say this was for you. However, I found it very good. It was engaging and funny, yes it did stretch the boundaries of believability (even considering the fact that is paranormal) but I was hooked the whole way through and downloaded the next one straight away. If you like paranormal with some action and some sexual tension and a bit of mystery, give it a go.

Just.Read.It.And.Youll.See.
Amazing. Easy to read, flows brilliantly. World building. Strong main character, she is tough as bricks. Already got my eye on her with Braxton because we all know he loves her. Great concept and all round addictive to read the whole series. If your not convinced then let me say this. I've read many many books and found them to be great but not once left a review. I am leaving a review(my first one) for this because I simply want you to read it. Also I was worried this might be a reverse harem - it isnt.

Overall this story was great. Couldn't put the book down and I'm looking forward to the next one.But the characters fell a bit short. The main girl Jessa, kept saying she was an alpha but she didnt act like one. She was stubborn and impulsive and I liked her but the way she let others take the lead, the way the boys treated her like she was fragile, thats not an alpha.I loved the relationship between her and braxton but her other relationship s need nore work. (Eg. Spoiler) she said she was close with her father and at the start he takes her aside to tell her her mother is back to give her a heads up before a big meeting..... then drops a bomb shell on her that she has a sister in front of everyone????I was just hoping for more in-depth character development. But the negative wasn't enough to turn me off the series. Looking forward to thr next

Very enjoyable
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the whole concept of secret supernatural societies existing in towns of their own, hidden from the real world. The characters were great fun and the Compass boys were pretty amazing :-). All in all I felt this was a light hearted and fun take on supernaturals, but it was still filled with well rounded characters and plenty of action. A highlight was the originality of the Dragon Marked and learning how that came to be. I am straight off to buy the next one.
