I ran and added it to my TBR 😁who knew this would be one of my best decisions! I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was absolutely amazing and delicious. The book wasn’t some floof that was full of floofy stuff that makes you feel stagnant and stuck but it had the perfect dose of everything- sweet, spice, anger, emotions and a plot 💗This book also picked up a social topic very subtly and makes you ponder over it rather than making and jumping on conclusions, which was totally LIT 💌Josh and Clara are the kind of couple who don’t “fit together perfectly” but would cut off their edges to make them fit together 🥹 You can actually feel the love radiating off them and it made me *heart-eyes* and mushy. The characters have every thing in them that makes them pretty close to real people.I loved how 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐲 takes care of every single minuscule thingie about his girl and how he can do anything to make her smile “like I just won you a giant teddy bear at the county fair”. Like that guy even thought that he can’t let that woman eat less-than-perfect desserts so he went at 8 in the morning to the bakery across town DAYUMMM🙃🙈𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚 was a headstrong woman. All she needed was a little push and BOOM the game is on! Her dedication and passion towards everything she does will probably make us a workaholic 😌 She’s the most gorgeous sunshine and the kind of person anyone can “click” with in just a minute of meeting her! I saw so much of myself in Clara- how she doesn’t feel sexy enough, how she felt “less” worthy and less experienced and embarrassed and her insecurity about her curves… I LOVE HER 🌷

How did I miss the memo about this book?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️♾️🤔 How come nobody told me that I have to read The Roommate by Rosie Danon? Have other people read this? It’s the perfect, most wonderful book. Not only is it simply a great contemporary romance- well written, charming characters, good pacing of plot and character development - but it also has SUCH important messages in it - clarifying the the fight that women have to wage in order to demand $exual pleasure in our society and encouraging them to do so. Meanwhile, it’s a great romance and so fun!! And Josh, the MC, is simply edible 🍪@juliereadsromance

Realmente me gustó mucho. La recomiendo si quieres algo ligero
Realmente me gustó mucho. Sin embargo hubo capitulos dónde sentí que la historia se volvía demasiado lentaLos momentos donde no tenemos a Clara y Josh se sintieron más como relleno. Pero en general me gustó

Absolutely perfect !
Aaaah, this was so close to perfection !The only thing I didn't like was the micommunication trope that irritated me around the end. Apart from that, this book was everything I wanted so it's still a 5/5 for me !The feminism dripping in every page was so satisfying. I loved loved loved the concept of Shameless, a website around sex ed - with a little bit of spice - to empower women and help them understand their body, their sexualty and how to orgasm in different ways. It's so clever - and why is this platform not real already ? 👀I also liked to learn more about the adult entertainment industry. I loved the way it humanized performers and offered readers a way to understand more about porn without any judgment. Josh's and Naomi's challenges throughout the book made me understand how this industry doesn't take care of their actors and I hated how especially women are treated there. I could see how much the author did her research and I appreciated her effort to picture the harsh reality of adult entertainment. Now, about the romance : it was insaaaaaanely hot. My god, the sexual tension almost killed me. The chemestry between Josh and Clara was oh so steamy and off chart. I was on the edge of my seat everytime they interacted. They bring out the best in each other and watching them fall in love little by little was beautiful. Their love felt raw, honest and so damn cute.Individually, I liked Clara and saw bits and pieces of myself in her deepest fears and her lack of self confidence. But Josh was clearly the highlight of this book. I simply fell in love with him, I couldn't help it. He's forever in my top book boyfriends. He destroyed every code of romance : he wasn't a bad boy, and sure, he did have loads of sexual experiences (I mean, he's a porn star), but apart from that, he was refleshingly different. Depite his fears of "how could anyone ever want to be with him because of his job", he loved fiercely and didn't shy away about how much he cared for Clara. He was sweet, respectful, always caring about people around him. AND he was hot as Hades. Yeah. I know. I'm not kidding. Nice and cute guys can be insanely attractive and own their sexual energy as any toxic bad boys out there. And for that, I thank the author. Also, can I say the more I read third person romances, the more I prefered this point of view ?Anyway, if you are looking for an original romcom, with loads of steam and sexual tension, full of women empowerment, this one is for you. You won't be disappointed !

PERFECTION!
I'm just in love with this book in every possible way. It was funny, heart-warming, sexy, and everything I expect from a good romcom.Good-girl Clara's biggest fear is to disappoint her family, especially by causing a scandal, but one day she decides to leave New York to go live with her best friend, Everett, who she's had a crush on forever. But when she arrives in LA, Clara discovers that Everett is going on tour with his band, leaving her to share the house with... a porn star.Josh is just a great male lead. He's sexy, funny, confident, but not arrogant, and what's most important: he falls over heels for our good girl from New York.Rosie was able to write a great love story, that also tackles a topic that shouldn't still be, but still is taboo. We see in all of Josh's reactions that he's always ready to be judged because of his job, and when he is, the reader feels offended with him.I was very excited to read this book and also a little worried it wouldn't meet my expectations, but thankfully the worry was in vain.Perfect for fans of The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang!
