You can't beat this product for the money. There are lots of USB ports including 3.0 ports. As well, HDMI and DVI and the DVI port comes with a DVI to VGA adapter in the box. It also comes with the USB cord, so nothing extra is needed.NOTE: We use similar docking stations at work (that cost twice as much) and had the same issue with them, wherein this product requires a lot of drivers to install on your PC. Windows update has no problem finding them, but you sometimes have to unplug and replug in the docking station in order to get them all to install. Once you do, however, no issues! But I ran into that so I thought others might want to know.My only complaint is I wish there were more audio ports, as my laptop only has one for both mic and speakers; I was hoping to be able to hook up my Logitech 5.1 channel speakers to the doc. But the needed standard in/out/mic audio ports are not found on this dock so I am not able to do this. I don't really see this as a reason not to buy this product since, especially anywhere close to this price range, none of the other docking stations include these inputs/outputs either. But I thought it worth noting and would be a great value-add. With the number of USB ports on this device plugging in a USB sound card won't be an issue.My favorite thing about this docking station is the fact it includes both an HDMI and a DVI port, many docking stations included an HDMI and a VGA.Also, it uses the standard DisplayLink drivers which means you can connect it to Windows, Linux, or Mac without issue.

Worked great right out of the box. Plugged it in, newest drivers loaded automatically in windows 10, and the provided DVI to VGA adapter was a real plus b/c my monitor doesn't support DVI. All of the ports function as they should, and the external monitor resolution etc. is stable. My only criticism of the unit is that all of the ports are on the back of the device. So, due to where the device sits on my desk, plugging and unplugging devices such as USB memory sticks, or a portable USB DVD drive, is cumbersome. Putting the audio in/output and a couple of USB 3.0 ports on the front would be a welcomed improvement. That not withstanding the device is operating as advertised and desired.

This docking station works great. The only minor bug was the fact that my wireless keyboard and mouse were kind of glitchy. I moved my USB into a different port in the docking station and moved the docking station closer to my keyboard and mouse and it fixed it. I think in general docking stations need a bit of tweaking before they work the way you want them too.I have tested this docking station with my dell laptop and an apple Macbook. It works with both. With the Mac, it is a little slower, but that is to be expected because I had to download a driver in order to get it to work with the Mac. Here is the link for the Mac driver. [...]

Bought this to connect my 17" Mac Book Pro --- used the included USB 3.0 cable to connect from my laptop to the docking station. Then downloaded the Mac OSX drivers from displaylink.com's website. The printed Quick Start manual that came in the packaging had an incorrect website link so for the convenience of other buyers, here's the link:DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Mac OS X (2.6)[...]I have a Displayport monitor connected to my laptop, and a second monitor connected via DVI to the docking station. So I know have three screens. The docking station has two video outputs -- one is DVI and the other is HDMI. I haven't yet connected to the HDMI output so I wonder if I can have a total of 4 screens (laptop, monitor 1 on the DP output, Monitors 2 and 3 on the docking station). Fingers crossed!

I purchased this dock to stream sports from my laptop to my tv while using an additional monitor for regular work at my desk. Works well for everything except when you play video. The lag is pretty awful on both the tv and my additional monitor and then sometimes the screen just shakes as well. Downloaded all the updated drivers and even purchased some additional cords thinking maybe it was my hdmi cord that was the problem. Nope, it just does not seem to be able to work for videos at an acceptable quality. I will be returning this product.

Very nice. After popping in the cd i wss up and running in about 5 minutes. Nice to be able to have an extra monitor, mouse, keyboard, and several storage devices hooked up and still have open ports

I really like the Docking station. It works really well, except that I can't plug my wireless keyboard and mouse USB directly into the station. I have to run an extension cable to keep the usb away from the station to keep the mouse from glitching. Other than that I like it.

I bought this docking station to easily transition between my work-laptop and home PC. It works wonderfully. It took me awhile to figure out what drivers to install on my home PC (which is older), but after one misfire, I figured it out. Since then, I have had no issues. I purchased a separate DVI-HDMI cable (instead of using the included converters), which keeps the profile to a minimum on a desktop. However, you could use the adhesive to stick it out-of-sight.

There seems be be very little or no support for this Docking Station, I use docking stations for all my laptops and they are all Dells, recently I started the using the Vostro Range and it did not fit in with the regular Dell Latitude Type Docking Station. However all the Dell Laptops works with this docking staion with one minor annoyance. The Extended Display display flickering after prolong use, say 6 or 7 hours of use. I thought it was most likely due to drivers specifically the Display Link Drivers, and I have not been able to find the latest drivers for this unit other than the ones that are supplied with the purchase of this product. I have tried it with Windows 7s, Windows 8.0, 8.1 and Windows 10, they all flicker. If the extended display is used with the proper Dell Docking Station NO Flickering is noticed. If anyone knows where I can find updated drivers for Display Link, please comment on my review.So, I'm afraid no 5 Stars, 4 is generous in my instance an experience.

this product is good, easy to set up just followed the instruction. It works very well with my drawing screen tablets/ monitors. To watch Amazon video isn't perfect some works fine other not good with iTunes it doesn't work at all sad!! Anyway my Mac doesn't have enough USB so this resolve few problems of mine. Isn't perfect some little adjustment but overall I'm happy with it.Service was great, well packed everything as describe. thank you!

Windows 10 automatically installed the drivers for the device without any further installation required. The images on both extended screens are stable, I'm using the HDMI and DVI connections with two 1600x900 resolution screens. Having used USB2.0 video cards in the past and knowing how laggy they were, I was concerned that this would be too but it isn't, it works really well. The network card seems to work well too. It's nice just being able to plug just one cable into my laptop and have everything available to me.

Llevaba bastante tiempo buscando una docking station que me resultara interesante sin un precio desorbitado hasta que me topé con ésta de Odoga. Es la más completa que se adaptaba a mis necesidades.Esta estación de acoplamiento consiste en poder tener conectado todos los periféricos externos como ratón, teclado, discos duros, pantallas, cable ethernet (Internet), sonido, micrófono,... a una misma base y, aprovechando la tecnología USB 3.0 la cual admite velocidades suficientes para poder trabajar con todo esos periféricos (10 veces más rápido que USB 2.0), conectarlo a un portátil a través de un mismo cable de conexión sencilla como es el USB. De ésta manera superápida se puede tener todo en un momento y sin tener tropecientos cables en la mesa de trabajo.En mi caso, lo uso en casa en mi mesa de escritorio de tal forma que al llegar a casa, enciendo el portátil y conecto el cable USB 3.0 y puedo trabajar con todos los periféricos conectados al instante sin perder el tiempo en conectar diversos cables. Lo uso con un Macbook Air 13 pulgadas.Lo tengo desde hace un par de semanas y la experiencia es un poco decepcionante. Primero, el adaptador que trae para enchufes en España no sirve, como otros han comentado tiene un tamaño enorme lo que impide que lo puedas enchufar en el 90% de los enchufes. Se arregla gastando un par de eurillos en un chino, pero a estas alturas deberían haberlo solucionado.Segundo y más importante. Mi objetivo fundamental era conectar dos monitores adicionales al portátil. Se puede hacer, funciona, pero en mi caso y con uno de los dos monitores la calidad de la imagen conseguida es bastante mala. Sin contraste, lo que dificulta mucho su uso. Da igual los ajustes que hagas en el monitor, no se ve bien. Muy, muy lejos de la calidad que obtienes conectando el mismo monitor directamente al portátil. Además no hay forma de que los puertos USB funcionen de forma lógica. Tengo unos altavoces externos conectados vía USB que funcionan sin problemas los conecte al puerto que los conecte del dock. Pero ni el adaptador para el teclado y ratón inalámbrico, ni una simple impresora conectada vía USB funcionan (evidentemente conectadas directamente al portátil funcionan sin problema).= Actualización =Después de leer este comentario el proveedor se ha puesto en contacto conmigo disculpándose y explicando que debe tratarse de una unidad defectuosa (es posible) y ofreciéndome el envío de una nueva unidad. Finalmente, como no disponían de ninguna en stock (ni les iban a llegar a corto plazo), me han devuelto directamente el importe completo de la compra. Un excelente servicio post-venta por parte de Electronic Depot, enhorabuena.

L’alimentatore ha la spina americana, ma in dotazione c'è anche l'adattatore per le prese europee/italiane, che genera un'accoppiata abbastanza ingombrante (dovrete ricavare uno spazio dedicato sulla presa o sulla ciabatta). L'adattatore è molto leggero e dà l'idea di rompersi facilmente, ma in alcuni mesi di utilizzo non ha ancora dato problemi.Le dimensioni della docking station sono contenute per altezza e profondità, ma molto generose in lunghezza e non poteva essere diversamente, considerata l’abbondante dotazione di porte.Può essere posizionata solo in orizzontale: non ha una base che gli permetta di stare in verticale.Presenta delle intacche sulla parte superiore per espellere il calore generato dall’elettronica interna; sulla parte inferiore è presente un tappetino in gomma ricoperto da una pellicola che protegge la parte adesiva: una volta rimossa, può essere attaccato ad una superficie liscia. Vi sconsiglio di attaccarla sotto il piano della scrivania perché l’adesivo è di scarsa qualità e rischiate che cada, come è successo a me. Fortunatamente i cavi corti hanno impedito che si schiantasse al suolo!La finitura delle plastiche è nero lucido.L’installazione è molto semplice: una volta collegati il cavo USB 3.0 al notebook (quello in dotazione non è molto lungo, quindi dovrete posizionare il portatile abbastanza vicino alla ODOGA e i monitor di conseguenza) e l’alimentazione (non avendo un pulsante di accensione/spegnimento, se vorrete spegnerla, dovrete brutalmente staccare l’alimentazione), si accenderà il led blu al centro del frontale e non dovrete far altro che installare i driver dal CD in dotazione. Quelli forniti non sono l'ultima versione, quindi vi consiglio di fare un salto sul sito DisplayLink e scaricare i driver aggiornati.L’utilizzo non dà grandi problemi: la visualizzazione sui monitor collegati è molto buona e non si presenta nessun effetto scia allo scorrimento del mouse o all’attivazione di animazioni veloci, nemmeno con i videogiochi; saltuariamente si possono verificare sfarfallii dei monitor.L'audio, una volta collegato, viene riconosciuto come dispositivo USB.Come già accennato, monta un chip Display Link, che, come riscontrato da me e da numerosi commenti di altri utenti in forum specifici italiani ed esteri, provoca un elevato uso di risorse delle CPU che purtroppo gli ultimi aggiornamenti driver non hanno risolto.Devo dire che per me, avendo un portatile con i7 versione desktop, non crea grossi problemi, se non una lieve rumorosità aggiuntiva dovuta all’aumento del tempo di funzionamento delle ventole ad alto/medio regime; per chi invece avesse un PC un po’ datato o non molto prestante, questo difetto potrebbe pregiudicarne l'utilizzo.Durante il funzionamento emette un lieve ronzio, quasi impercettibile, ma in ambienti particolarmente silenziosi lo si potrebbe notare.Un ultimo appunto: le prese USB 3.0 per la ricarica veloce non ricaricano velocemente.Molte funzionalità, quindi, ma anche alcuni difetti che in situazioni specifiche ne possono comprometterne l'utilizzo.In conclusione: un oggetto economico rispetto a docking station più blasonate (tipo Dell) che permette di avere una configurazione multimonitor, di tenere in ordine la scrivania ed estendere la dotazione di porte del proprio portatile.

Si vas a mi mesa solo verás un teclado, un ratón, un par de pantallas y la estación de acoplamiento Odoga, a su vez conectada a un lector de DVDs y un disco duro USB.Cuando llego, conecto el portátil por el USB y listo. Todos los periféricos cobran vida y es una gozada trabajar con tantos monitores.Así lo tengo tanto en el trabajo como en casa. Tanto para Ubuntu como para Windows.La verdad es que para mi ha sido todo un descubrimiento que ya no puedo dejar de usar.

Al principio funcionaba muy bien , pero cada vez que reinicio pierde las pantallas y hay que desinstalar y volver a instalar el software de Display en win7 ultimate x64. Estoy a ver si lo soluciono pero si no puedo lo devolveré.Actualizo , funciona fantásticamente bien con Windows 10.

Tras comprarlo y usarlo durante unos dias comence a tener problemas. El distribuidor volvio a enviarme un dispositivo nuevo, pero igualmente al poco tiempo comenzaron los problemas de nuevo. Tras un seguimiento del caso por parte del distribuidor llegaron a la conclusion de que los problemas no son por un mal fucionamiento sino por que el dispositivo no es compatible con mi ordenador, Microsof Surface win10.No han dudado en ningun momento en tratar de solucionarlo y han estado pendientes en todo momento del caso. Al no ser compatible me han devuelto el dinero.Puedo decir por tanto que el distribuidor es serio y de confianza.

A parte il fatto che si scopre solo dai commenti che non ha un alimentatore con spina italiana, poi una volta attaccato solo i due video funziona, non appena si attaccano 2 usb i video iniziano a flippare... la sconsiglio

El artículo hace exactamente lo que dice que hace, pero va algo lento a la hora de resincronizar todos los puertos al portatil, como no, necesitas los ultimos drivers actualizados. Un detalle es que el adaptador de corriente que trae viene con otro adaptador español que como dicen otros comentarios no se puede conectar a ningún lado.....que bien...

Ho collegato il monitor dvi, un mouse, una tastiera e la lan gigabitethrnet. Il sonoro del monitor non si sente, la lan si disconnette 2 o 3 volte al minuto. Restituito.

funciona bien con windows 10. La única queja es que podrian enviar un adaptador de la clavija de ebchufar la fuente de alumentacion que quepa en la mayoria de enchufes , la que envian no cabe. Peri comprando uno por 1 eur se soluciona.
