After the first time I used one of these at a physical therapy appointment, I came home and ordered one.I set a timer for 2 minutes - I do two minutes, step down, and then do another two minutes. It's amazing. Per the research, longer static stretches are better than shorter ones at 30 seconds. This is 100% worth the money.I never stretch cold muscles - I use it after exercising or coming home from work.

Very disappointed with this slant board when it arrived. The plywood is extremely poor quality, with gaps and holes everywhere. The manufacturer has tried to patch up the gaps and holes with wood filler but has done a terrible job of that too. Some of the edges where the wood has been sawn have been left with sharp, jagged edges that could cause splinters and the box has been assembled without any pre-drilling of holes which has caused splits in the plywood that will soon lead to failure through use.I've returned this item for a refund and would suggest you avoid this one too.

I almost didn't open the package because I thought maybe I'd just use the stairs to stretch. But I opened it, put it on the floor and LOVE it. So sturdy and I can get great stretches. I love that you can change the slope.
