One for All Philips TV Remote Control - Works with All Philips TV/Smart TV - The Ideal TV Replacement Remote Control - URC4913

Around 11 years ago we moved into a new home. Not possessing any HD or smart TVs, we bought eight through a local Philips dealer. Recently two TVs and five of the remotes stopped working. Philips made a plethora of different remotes for different models and now none of the ones we need are available through a Philips dealer. With some doubts, I tried this one - success. The packaging of this item says that it works with all Philips TVs. In our case it works with all without any additional programming. Well done; why couldn't Philips produce something similar?Incidentally, picture and sound quality on new Philips TVs seems to have been overtaken by other manufacturers. The passive 3D and ambilight feature which impressed us 11 years ago no longer seem important. When our TVs fail, I am not returning to Philips for their replacement.

I have a Philips aurea 2 TV with ambilight which is a pretty old but good 1080p model. The remote works well straight out of the box. Just add the batteries and that's it, bingo

Works great, except for the lack of a dedicated picture format button.

Bought to replace faulty remote. Nice & slim not bulky like previous one. Not sure about the extra buttons for Netflix etc as I have amazon fire stick so no need to use them.
