If you own any of the B&O products, you know about the 5-7 pin din on the back, which gets you the Aux port working. The remote does not trigger it; you have to do it from the actual stereo; however, THIS CABLE IS GREAT! for very little, you get so much. A great length, no other adapters needed, plug it into your 3.5mm jack, and you're off and running. I was able to quickly figure out that my issue was not with my Beosound 2000 (aka the Century model) but with the crappy aux cable that finally gave up the ghost ten years later.This is the cable you want, and I hope it lasts the next ten years :)

I was looking for a way to tap into me stock stereo on my 1982 280zx and this was the missing piece! Allowed me to tap my touchscreen display directly into my stock stereo. No rewiring, plug and play!

I bought this cable back in November 2019 and I just finally started using this cable. This cable is wired to be used an input. It uses pin 3(R Audio), pin 5(L Audio) which is backwards so I have will to fix it. Pin 2 is for the neutral connection. Now that I know that have to fix its correctly wired I'll have to take one star off for that. Pins 1 & 4 are for an output so they are left unconnected. Now this may not work for MIDI devices but this otherwise works well for vintage German stereo tube consoles. So if your looking for a DIN to aux cable for your vintage German stereo this will work with that one caveat.

This product is what you need. I needed to connect my iPhone to my Beosound1 player using the 5 pin DIN connector to the B&O. I got this after having tried a 7 pin cable, which was not working. This worked like a charm. The connector is sturdy, the 5" cable is soft and very flexible and the 3.5mm minijack is also good quality. Great value for money for a perfect product!

I had bought this hoping to use it as a type A MIDI converter cable (i.e. as a MIDI connector for Korg, Roland, etc products) but it turns out it doesn't work. Instead I bought some Zawdio MIDI to 3.5mm adapters that are explicitly marked as 'type A' and they work perfectly. This cable is probably fine for some other uses but not for what I needed.

I bought this as a test to see if I could hook it up on my Goldwing intercom and be able to hear the radio and gps functions. Using it with a cheap pair of headphones, it works great!!!

For those that wanna know if this will work with their Beosound Century 2000, I can affirm that it does. Many people have commented on how the 5 pins are wired. I can't confirm the actual wiring configuration for this adapter but I can tell you how the AUX port on the Beosound is configured:Pin 1 NCPin 2 Signal groundPin 3 AF in left 0.25-2V RM5 47kOPin 4 N.C.Pin 5 AF in right O.25-2V RMS 47kOPin 6 N.C.Pin 7 N.CSo I'm assuming the 3/5 pins are wired correctly as it works with the Beosound. Hope this helps! I used this to connect to a bluetooth adapter and it works great.

Bought this and won’t clock my devices at all, went to my local music store and bought the same type of cable and it works flawlessly. It’s worth paying extra at a music shop near you for something that actually works

Hard to give this a 5 star when it doesn't meet the function I bought it for. This adapter WILL NOT work if your device requires a type A DIN to TRS connector.
