Disappointing, Expensive and difficult to work with...
I've purchased this product more than once, as I started a project with it and needed more to finish the project. However, overall I'm disappointed with the product and therefore cannot recommend it. Having worked with it several times... I haven't found it any easier. The paper backing makes the neoprene dimensionally stable while the paper is attached. If you cut the product to fit a certain area while the paper is attached and peel off the paper prior to trying to stick it in place, it's very difficult because once separated from the paper the neoprene stretches easily. Sometimes, depending on the location you're trying to place the neoprene, you can attach part of the neoprene and then carefully unroll the paper backing as you simultaneously roll the neoprene in place. That works well IF you have the room to do that. But the paper backing isn't all that strong and if the paper tears, which it does easily, you're screwed, because it is very, very difficult to remove a partially torn piece of the paper backing. The neoprene itself is also easily torn when separated from the paper. The adhesive is tenacious: If you mistakenly let the neoprene adhesive touch itself, once again you're screwed because you won't be able to separate the two. And if you have to remove the neoprene from a surface once it's firmly adhered, you're in for an unpleasant chore. When I think of the cost of the product, and weigh that against it's shortcomings, it makes the value that much worse....

Used it for years. . .
I love this stuff. It works & works well.1. Yes. On occasion the paper backing will come off in pieces. Seen that only a few times And didn't bother me. I either was able to save it, or tossed it and cut another. Usually cutting pieces 3 inches by 6 inches.2. Windex. Use Windex or similar product to spray onto the backing while you position. Once applied use hair dryer or similar heat-gun to dry out the Windex.3. As above I no longer have to use Windex because I've worked with it so long I'm used to it. But Windex saved my butt many times early on.4. Cushiony, stretchy and a really nice product to work with.5. Removal. Yep, it's a PITA if you got it on there and decide to remove it. Plan on that taking some time.Great Stuff!

A good size roll (check description) for the price and I ...
A quality Neoprene material that I purchased for Radio Control and craft application. I am currently using this to add grip to my transmitter. This is a thinner piece of material that I purposely chose for my specific use. It has a very sticky backing so make sure you accurately lay it down the first time or it might get messy trying to pull it up; of course this tacky backing is a big selling point for me. A good size roll (check description) for the price and I bought this on a recommendation from a fellow drone flyer.

Be careful using this product. I put it on ...
Be careful using this product. I put it on my SKATEBOARD as padding underneath my griptape..messed up towards the end, went to pull the neoprene padding back a little to realign it and was devastated at how this stuff comes off. It's sticky. Holy cow is it sticky..but don't expect this to come off all I one pull. Nope. It took almost a whole afternoon cleaning trying to scrape this stuff off. This stuff needs to come with a warning label stating it might ruin whatever your adhering it too. Definitely try a test spot before you go crazy with it. It is sponget. It is sticky. That is all.

Very Fragile
The eighth-inch think foam padding is very fragile. The foam will disintegrate easily with any kind of rubbing. It is not durable at all. Rips and shreds easily after install. The adhesive backing is very strong though.

Saved my throw rug.
Product was used as a replacement for the latex on the underside of an throw rug. After removing the dried latex from the back and washing the throw rug, the product was measured and attached to the back. So far the product has adhered to the throw rug. The throw rug now stays in place. Haven't tried to rewash the rug. I am thinking the product will probably lose its adhesion and will have to be replaced. Until then I am very satisfied.

Quality and Function
This product met my needs exactly. The level of stickiness is good. The density of the neoprene is what I was looking for and can be handled without falling apart. I feel it was good value for the money. It will get a lot of use in my shop!
