Im recommending this set 150%. Beatiful wood and quality is amazing. The only thing is when you get "Kinged" the pieces don't lock together, not that big of a deal just an fyi

Nice Mid-Range Chess and Checker Set
I was looking for a nice mid-range combination chess and checker set and this one fit the bill. It came packaged in a nice sturdy box. The pieces are large enough and are of a good quality and the board folds up for storing the pieces inside. The latches on the box are quite sturdy. If you want a decent looking set that doesn't cost a fortune, this is a good option and would make a very nice gift as well.

Folding Wooden Chess & Checker Set.
A nice wooden chess and checker set. All the pieces store securely inside in padded slots and nothing rattles around. The board and all the pieces are well done and a good value. The only thing I would add to it is a carrying handle.

Great set overall. A bit non-standard - knights are slightly taller than the bishops
The set looks and feels great, and is definitely of high quality. My only complaint is that the knights are slightly taller than the bishops, which is not how it should be normally.

Fair value for the cost of item. The good the wood crafted pieces. The bad as mentioned before little to no magnetic activity as well as some of the felt on the bottom of pieces is not secured that good but for the price it’s well worth it.
