This plaster gets hot when it sets. With enough mass it can become very very hot. It is not recommended. You can call our customer service number and we can find a plaster that is safe to use for that type of project.

can this be used to make planter pots ?

It is still slightly porous after it has hardened so it is very likely that it will decay, stain, or something. If you put a drainage hole In The bottom and used a plastic pot inside, then it may last for quite some time.
