General Tools 230 Economy Feeler Gage, 26-Leaf with Metric and English Units

The gage works fine, but the numbers on each of the pieces are not engraved or laser, and after using it for a few times, the numbers are almost unreadable. I'm getting the dremel out and fixing the problem, but maybe there's a better product out there.

Have not needed it much, but the best review a tool can be given..."I've only needed it once".

Leave are almost impossible to read, unless the leaf is turned at an odd angle and held close to the eyes. Two or three of the leaves are etched well, they're legible from any angle and at a distance.Since they did manage to etch several of the leaves properly so that they can be read from a distance, they should have etched all the leaves that way.Several other reviewers have complained about that same issue, and for me when I called the company (General Tool) they themselves admitted that it's made it China and that I should return it. The company themselves don't stand behind this product.AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

The feeler gage set is fully constructed of stainless steel as to prevent rusting in harsh environment.

i Understand why others left comments regarding print versus etching to identify thickness. however, it was 10$ add on item. i guess if you want perfect, buy more expensive tools. works for my purpose but will not be a daily use item for me.
