Best value milk frother, total espresso game changer!
As a coffee enthusiast, I can never go back to making espresso drinks without this! It makes such nice, cloud-like foam and has totally changed my home coffee making game. My friend has a Nespresso milk frother (~$100 value), and I believe this milk frother makes the same cloud-like quality frothed milk at a fraction of the price of the more high-end brands. In addition to this product's value for its price, it is very easy to use and clean. As an aside, I also want to comment on Instant's customer service. In today's age, I have found that many sellers on Amazon have horrible customer service, so I like to give shout outs to brands that have great customer service centers. My experience with the Instant customer service team was impeccable. I first purchased this item certified refurbished on Amazon Resale, and it stopped working after 1 month of use. I reached out to their customer service to see if they would replace it, but was not sure if they would since it was a refurbished product. The customer service team was very kind, helpful, and understanding of my situation. After providing them with video evidence of the item not working, they promptly sent me a replacement! If you are looking to step up your espresso/coffee game with a milk frother, I highly recommend this Instant milk frother!!

This product did not work from day one!!
I think I win the award for the worst performance for this milk frother. I bought it from Amazon after a different frother I had used for several years finally stopped working (and the company is no longer in the US, so I can't get parts for it). Before I opened the box, my old frother began working again, so I decided to see how it went before opening the new one. Suffice it to say that the old one stopped working right about the time when the return window for the new one had closed. So I opened up the Instant Pot, followed the instructions exactly, and it didn't work! It heated the milk but without foam. No matter which function button I used, it wouldn't foam/froth. I tried every kind of milk. No frothing. I followed some recommendations from Amazon. No dice. I finally contacted the customer service people at Instant Pot. That was two months ago. We are STILL back and forth. Make a video to show it doesn't work! I did. Tell us exactly what isn't working. I did. They finally told me they put in an order for a replacement Instant Pot for me and that I would receive a separate email with tracking info, once it shipped. This was more than a week ago. I just wrote them again. For a company that repeatedly thanks me for my patience and apologizes for the delays, this is inexcusable. The weird thing is that I carefully researched milk frothers and this one was on every list of recommended products! If you are thinking of getting it, SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy something else. I still don't know what product to buy as a replacement.

Easiest way to make foam for your coffee and more!
Update: I still love this and use it every morning. But I’m a little disappointed that in just a few weeks time the print is nearly worn completely off the front of it. All it ever requires is light wash and rinse from the sprayer at the sink, then I usually let it air dry in the dish drainer or give it a light soft towel dry. So I don’t understand why the print is coming off so easily. This is the first time I’ve ever purchased an open box item and I’m so happy that I took the chance. Because I love my Instant Pot, I was hoping the positive experience I’ve had with the brand name would carry over to this product too and it did not disappoint one bit! It so convenient just starting this up while I’m making a French Press coffee and having it ready to go when I need it. Works fantastic whether you need warmed light or stiff foam or cold foam for iced drinks. It quickly rinses clean with the sink sprayer too! And if you like Dalgona coffee, YES! It makes that too! Even matcha dalgona! Don’t be dissuaded by reviews that complain about two lights blinking and it not working. Occasionally that happens, I think it’s a safety feature - perhaps it thinks there’s not enough liquid if your using minimum or what you’ve used is too heavy/thick but all it takes is lifting the pot up and setting it back down. Then it clears and goes back to working perfectly fine. I’ve included pictures of both Dalgona coffee and Dalgona Matcha (using coconut cream) that I’ve made with it many times! Yummy!

Not perfect, but it makes really GREAT FROTH!
Update at bottom I have been using a handheld frother for a little over a year. It works really well, but since I use it so often, I decided the ease of an electric would be worth it. After much searching, I decided on this one as good for the price. I've had it for a little over a month, and I'm very happy with it so far. There are four differen settings: cold foam, warm light foam, warm thick foam, and warm with no foam. Though it does foam a little in that setting, which is odd, but whatever. I always drink skim milk, so I can't speak for other types of milk. - The most important thing to me is the froth. It makes GREAT froth. I gave it five stars solely for this reason, even though it's not flawless. The froth is amazing. I typically use the warm thick foam setting. It's so very thick, and smooth, and fluffy. Some pours out into the drink, but often there is a good portion that I need to coax out with a spoon, which I love. The light foam is also nice. I like it to mix in with a beverage, but generally my motto is why light froth when you can thick froth??? I tried the cold froth for my daughter, and it was equally smooth and fluffy. - It's super easy to run. Just press the button to choose the froath that you want and press the button to start. It starts and stops on it's own. - Fixing my negetive statement concerning the frother overflowing. It doesn't. Review was due to my bad eyes and the difficult to see "min" "max" lines in the container. - It's not dishwasher safe. I wasn't looking for dishwasher safe because I used my handheld once or twice a day. I knew I would want to use this one before I could run a cycle through the dishwasher. If you want dishwasher safe, keep looking. - It IS easy to clean. Super easy to wash out with a cloth or sometimes I just put a drop of dishsoap and some water in the container and run the cold cycle. The one thing I dislike is that the mechanics are in the bottom of the container, rather than in the base it sits on. You have to be careful not to get it too wet, and I'm always paranoid I'm going to do something stupid to wet and ruin it. I haven't yet. And I'm probably not. - I think the cord is a little long for a countertop appliance, considerably longer than my coffee machine and WAY longer than my toaster. To me this is the most annoying thing about it because I really dislike seeing cords. A more "countertop appliance" friendly cord would be easier to tuck and hide. UPDATE: After using this great little frother 2/3 times daily for a year and a half, it died. I've had virtually no complaints during that time and stick to everything written in my original review..... for the dead frother at least. I replaced it with a duplicate. I missed my froth so much and was SO excited when it arrived. That one just wasn't the same. I did everything exactly the same. Same milk, same amount. same setting, same kitchen, same everything. I tried over and over. It was worse than my handheld frother. :( I sent it back and got them to send another one. It's great... thankfully because this froth has become one of the little joys in my life. So if you get one and aren't content with the way it froths, send it back and ask for a replacement. Maybe you got a lemon. 2nd UPDATE: Have been using the replacement. It worked GREAT for a little while then declined in froth quality. It still works well. I get a nice enough froth that I'm enjoying. But it's not amazing anymore. I do believe (from looking at videos/reviews as well as trying a few others) that this is the best quality for the pricepoint. Not sure if I'll get another like this when it eventually breaks or if it's worth trying something more expensive.

It works for me
I purchased this frother because of the reviews and its price -- much cheaper than the Nespresso Aerocino. I use it 2-3 times a day; I love my lattes. I have had it 3 months and thus far it has performed fairly well. It heats up my milk (2% regular milk) to a good temperature, which is a failing of the Aerocino. I do notice if using higher fat content milk (I've been using a little lite egg nog mixed with my 2% regular milk lately), some sticking to the bottom occurs. I haven't found it to be any more difficult to clean than any of the other similar frothers I've used. One does have to be careful with the whisk attachment as it does come off easily and can be a bit tricky to put on correctly. The machine will tell you if it's not on securely by the sound it makes. I haven't found this to be an unusual issue with this type of frother. It did stop working for me a couple times; perhaps water did seep into the motor. However, after flicking through the controls a few times and unplugging and replugging it in (perhaps resetting it?), it started to work again. The frothing modes do make a lot of foam, particularly with higher fat content milks. I heat up my milk on the heat mode, then when it clicks off, I use the light froth mode until froth starts touching the top of the lid -- about 10-15 seconds. You do have to watch it because it will overflow and make a mess. I find using the foam only modes produce too much foam for me. All in all, I like this frother. I can't yet speak to longevity. But, although it isn't perfect, for the price point it will do.

Wow, Didn’t Last 6 Months!
My original review: I love to go to that popular place to get my London Fog tea. I began to grow tired of the place not always making it the same. I really don’t care for 5 pumps of vanilla so to save myself from diabetes, I learned to make my own. I found an amazing tea here on Amazon, then it was time for a frother. I had two, from about 4 years ago, both had their issues, but made due. When the last one burned out and wouldn’t turn off, I decided to spend a bit more and get a good one! After reading the review, I chose the Instant one. This is worth what they charge for it, and it is super easy to clean! So far, it’s great. I usually fill to the top line, use the last setting (the little thermometer pic), and I get a perfect latte. After I pour out milk to the lower line, I use the first setting (the snowflake pic) to froth up the remainder of the warmed milk to top it off. The coffee cup settings are for froth. I watched a video of a review where the person filled the frother with milk and it overflowed, and that was because they used too much milk for the setting they chose. Don’t fall for their mistake. The lines inside show what amount of milk that should be so that doesn’t happen. That person didn’t read the directions. The lower 2 lines are for foam, the little thermometer is to make a latte! Happy frothing! September 2023, the device stopped working. I reached out to the company about the warranty and you basically have to jump through hoops to get a replacement, it went to metal scrap place, not worth the time or effort! Reduced stars and changed review.

Customer service is u responsive
Initially I loved my Instant Milk Frother. Bought in February 2024, and in October 2024 it became temperamental. There is a panel on the side that lets you select cool, warm, light or heavy froth. When you plug the Frother in, the panel lights up and you can push a button to change to your preferred froth of the day. After 8 months the panel would not light up when plugged in. I’d jiggle the frother on its base and after a minute or so, it would light up. Eventually I would unplug-plug back in, jiggle, rotate it around, squint one eye and curl my lip and tongue and it would light up. After a month of this, no more lights at all. I contacted customer service who wanted pictures showing it was plugged in and no light. Wanted pictures showing something else plugged in the did light up, I used a nightlight. I even sent a video! I was told that if the panel on the side got wet, it could short out and would no longer work. I knew not to submerge the frother in water, and I never just let water pour over the exterior. I was careful to hold it away from water and carefully stuck it under the faucet to rinse the inside. So yes, it was possible that water did splash on the panel. After reviewing the manual, there was a line item warning to only clean the exterior with a damp cloth. After sending all the photos, receipt etc that they asked for, I have heard nothing back. My last email to customer service I stated I hope they could do something for me, but anything less than replacement of the frother would lead me to look elsewhere for a less temperamental frother. Nothing from customer service since. So if you do buy the Instant Milk Frother, be very careful to not let any water splash on the control panel.

I could not use the item as it did not work because of voltage difference
when ordering through Amazon Uk site it was assumed that we will get to use it on 240V but the item is for US power of 120V. Item is of no use
