I thought this was metallic soft plastic like most hair clips - that was my mistake for not reading the full description. Compared to plastic ones of this style, the lines are thinner. They look elegant and hold hair well, but they are of course slightly heavier than most hair clips due to the material. They also are a bit pokier at the ends when you first put them in. I get headaches very easily, so I did schedule a return since the extra weight will just be a no-go for me. Found some metallic-shaded plastic ones elsewhere on amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08X2CGMZZ/) which I will try instead.

These are made of metal and very strong. Very graceful in design, easy to use.They will hold your hair all day even if you nap! These should last for years. Very smooth with nice finish. Great Value!Highly recommended

This mermaid clip is so cute and I can wear for any occasion. However, I wish it grabbed more hair because my hair is thick. I use it to clip hair in the back but never for a full pick up as a lot of hair comes out.

I received today and are very pretty, just one of clip when click on looks like loose , but anyway I will keep that.
