These are excellent strings! I use this set on a Fender Stratocaster with a two-pivot floating tremolo and only three springs to maintain the float. For anyone who uses single-coil pickups and wants to do away with some of the brightness synonymous with stainless steels, this set of strings enables you to do just that without dialing off the treble via the tone pot. The effect when picking a muted string is less of a harsh click and more of a warm clunk (if that makes sense). The gauges are wonderfully balanced; the wound strings are punchy and the bottom 50 is stable and doesn't fluctuate in pitch (much). It's the sonic balance that I really love. Chords sound clear and focused and (provided that you're not moving up from a significantly lighter set) the strings bend fairly easily too. These strings can bring much needed warmth to guitars that may otherwise sound too shrill and twangy. I highly recommend them!

The high strings were kinked and I had to use strings from other makes. The strings were sharp and hurt my fingers even though I had gone down a gauge with these sets

These strings are of fantastic quality and another step on my way to discovering the perfect tone, like Eric Johnson's. They look great, feel great, and overall they sound great. Very poor quality strings in my opinion; they started to corrode very shortly after fitting them.
