Excellent product
Thought long and hard about getting something to get our elderly Labrador in an out of the boot of our estate car and this fits the bill. Not just a make-do solution, this is a product that I can really recommend. It is sturdy, light weigh, takes up little space and I ( as an elderly person) can put it in situ with one hand ( I do need two hands to clip it onto the boot catch). Not often that something meets your expectations, and more, but this does. She was very wary at first, but with her on a short lead, and a person standing at either side of the steps, she quickly realised that the only access to the strategically placed biscuit was up the steps. Within an hour of receiving it we were back to her favourite walking spot and I had the assurance that I could get her back in the car easily after our walk. An absolutely BRILLIANT product. Thank you.

Perfect , easy too use
The media could not be loaded. At last , no more ripped stomach and arm muscles for us getting 46kg boxer in the Kodiak which is too high for him too jump in or out It’s been brilliant, only took a couple of times of encouragement too get him too use it , he now goes in and out fine, So easy too put up and collapses easily tucks away perfectly definitely recommend

My old boy loves it
The media could not be loaded. So i have an older dog who has started to struggle to get up into our transit minibus so i thought i would get him something to help him, although i was worried he wouldn't like the feeling underfoot as he is really picky about these things. This has helped him a lot and he loves it, he knows what it is and nudges it even to get out of the bus (although that may be laziness) it has a soft pad as steps which really works for my old pup, it folds up into a really compact box size and just clips to the side when not in use, it even has soft ends so it won't scratch the car (although we don't really worry about it as our bus has a good few knocks and bruises).I tried it on our Alfa as well as i needed a small car to take him in and it's fine as it just spreads out longer in order to cope with the different height on there.Overall, i'm really happy with the finish, the quality and the adjustability of the whole setup.

Good product, may need to adapt fixing
Bought for my senior dog to get in/out of SUV. It works well for him, is kinder to his joints than jumping, and easier to train on than a ramp.Only issue I had is that it is designed to attach to a boot catch, but my boot does not have a static catch, it interlocks. We overcame this by attaching a double ended lead to the child seat anchor and we clip the d-ring to that. It has proved stable for our 30kg dog.I would suggest you ensure your cars paintwork is protected, as although it is nicely finished, there is a degree of pressure while it’s in use.

It’s fine but not as high or sturdy as I had imagined.
Possibly my fault but I expected the steps to be solid and to go up higher. They are fabric, and the whole thing is pretty low. It’s fine but hardly the sturdy apparatus I thought I was buying. Possibly my fault. I wouldn’t have returned it but ran out of time

Glad I bought it but....
... be prepared to spend time with your dog accustomising it to the steps.Lots of treats to encourage and if possible stand either side of steps to prevent your dog jumping up/ down.Solid rubber bungs to prevent scratching and a good solid, but easy and not fiddly to use clip to secure the steps. The angle of the steps is good too .Blah sturdiness, blah easy to use, blah easy to fold - agree with these suggested comments.Glad I bought them for my old staffie.P . S. My suv entrance is quite high so they'll probably be even better for a lower level one.

Just what I hoped for
Just got this and I am so impressed. Quite compact when packed away, unlike the ramp we have been using. It is very sturdy for the weight with steps that are fabric covered but have a hard base.Get this while you can. It's the best Amazon purchase of the year....

OK but not amazing
Bought this for my 60kg Tibetan Mastiff and one of the steps broke after 2nd use. I have requested a new one and this one has lasted for over 3 weeks now. The frame is solid and easy to stretch out but the steps are made of quite thin plywood inside. Dog isn't scared of using it though (tried ramp and he wouldn't use that) and there doesn't seem to be anything better out there at the moment so if you're looking for steps for a large dog that's the only one that's worth having a go. Returning of the broken one was easy and the new one came quickly too.
